The food here is absolutely delicious! The sundubu is amazing, and each order comes with tasty fried fish. Too bad, we forgot to take picture of that. The side dishes are fresh and flavorful. The service is excellent. Our lady server was very friendly and always made sure we were taken care of. Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today. The portions are also generous. Highly recommend!
Quick friendly service. It been years since we have been but they recognized my wife. Not overly seasoned so you can add sauce if you need it. Water is filtered and actually tastes good. I couldn’t wait to eat to stage a nice photo.
Great traditional Korean food with good variety of banchans. We had the bibimbap, seafood pancake and pork gukbap. Everything came out delicious even their banchans.
We loved Chodang Village so much that we ended up going two weekends in a row! The first time was Saturday around 4:20 PM, then again the following Sunday at 3 PM—and both times it wasn’t busy at all. We got seated right away, staff were super friendly, and service was lightning-fast and efficient. We went with the AYCE BBQ Option B “Deluxe,” which includes everything from A + B for $36.99 per person. Totally worth it—the selection is huge (various cuts of pork and beef, plus even octopus). But honestly, the real standout is the banchan (sides). Portions are generous—stuff that would cost extra at most places comes included here! Our favorites: the steamed egg, cheesy sweet corn, kimchi soup, and especially the fried dumplings. (Pro tip: toss those dumplings on the grill in a little meat grease to crisp them up…🔥🤤 thank me later!) All I can say is—when I’m too lazy to make KBBQ at home and craving endless side dishes, this is where I’ll be. 🙌🏻
Went to Chodang KBBQ recently, and overall, it was a decent experience—but a few things fell a bit short for me. The meat quality was okay, with some cuts more flavorful than others. A couple pieces were a bit chewy, but the marinated options definitely stood out more than the plain ones. The banchan was good, though I wish the selection was a little more varied and consistently fresh. Service was friendly, but there were some slow moments—especially when waiting for grill changes and refills. The place has a lively vibe, but it felt a little rushed at times, like they were trying to turn tables quickly. That said, it’s still a solid spot if you’re in the mood for casual KBBQ with friends and want a straightforward grill-your-own experience.
