Chopped & Served exceeded all expectations. From the moment we began planning to the final bite, their team was professional, creative, and attentive to every detail. The food was not only beautifully presented but absolutely delicious, flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the unique menu and beautiful setup. What really stood out was how smoothly everything ran, stress-free, on time, and handled with care. I have used Chopped and Served for business events in the past and was pleased with their service, so I hired them for my 72-year-old mother’s wedding. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. My mother and her husband were charged $3,000 for a poorly presented charcuterie board that looked like a few basic platters from Costco. It was nowhere near the quality we expected, especially given the price. The church also tried to contact Chopped and Served ahead of time to discuss setup, but their calls went unanswered. When I followed up, I was told that my mother should have informed them that the church would be reaching out, a response that felt dismissive. Although the “General Manager” acknowledged that the display was inconsistent with their usual work and understood our disappointment, they refused to offer any refund. Despite having grounds to pursue legal action, my mother’s husband, a former restaurant owner, chose to take the high road and not file a claim. He believed they might be facing hard times and decided to move on, a decision that reflects his integrity, not theirs. I’m genuinely disappointed to have to share this experience, but I feel it’s important to warn others so that no one else is taken advantage of in this way.
I have partnered with Chopped & Served on personal and professional events and every single occasion has been pure perfection. I am an event planner by trade, so the professionalism, reliability, variety, and quality food are all top priorities for me. There is nothing "generic" about the taste of Chef Jackson's food, it's SO good and the feedback from guests is always overwhelmingly positive. The ease of communication, setup, and execution by Chopped & Served is hands down the best and is the #1 caterer I would recommend to anyone wanting food to be the focus of their event or occasion!
