Awesome spot! Went on a Friday night for adult only skate for a friend’s birthday. Was so fun- I was a little nervous because I haven’t skated in probably 20 years. But came right back to me, amazing! Grabbed a drink beforehand at Page Bar because there’s no food or drink allowed inside (they do sell water). Can’t wait to go back when it’s a little warmer (no heat- the place is HUGE). Also make sure to look up the biography of the founder/DJ. Such a cool back story. Definitely will be back!!!
My husband and I had so much fun at Church of 8 Wheels roller disco! Loved the atmosphere, DJ, and hype man! We saw roller skaters and rollerbladers of all levels enjoying themselves. The venue itself is inside a former Catholic church from the late 1800s, complete with stained-glass windows and soaring arches, now transformed into a glowing roller rink with disco lights and music. They host themed nights, family-friendly sessions, and late-night adult parties, so there’s always something different happening!
TL;DR This place is so much fun BUT I hope you've skated a little in your life to reach the maximum fun available!! 90 minute sessions Full review: This place is great and only cost about thirty bucks when you rent skates. The music is 70-80's with an occasional late 90's dance hit. The light show here is fun and the vibe is awesome! If you've never skated before this might not be the right place to learn as there are no rails, just an open floor Falling is common but no one laughs at you. Bring elbow pads or knee pads if you're not confident. Seems like a great place to meet other young adults or hang out with your friends. There is a little bit of group dancing at the end. Not line dancing Skates don't come in half sizes. The floor could use a little love too.
A lot of fun! $20 cash only - they give you roller-skates included in price. Super nice music and vibe, we had a lot of fun! People from all levels are on the floor and you can even go if you are a super beginner. The people working at the door do not look happy, but service is fast! They could atleast just smile :). Dj is good! Not too busy and people (on the dance floor) are happy! Nice to watch some people that are advanced too if you are sitting around catching a breath. Prepare for some shin pains if this is your first time!
Super fun, very casual roller skating spot. The vibes are amazing here and the DJ played some great tunes. Would be great if it were a tad bit bigger, but nevertheless would definitely recommend coming here!
