We came to Cidercade Austin to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it turned out to be such a fun and memorable experience. It had been a long time since we last visited an arcade, so this was a refreshing and nostalgic way to spend the day. From the moment we walked in, the energy of the place was upbeat and inviting, with a great mix of classic arcade games and newer ones that kept us entertained the entire time. One of the best parts is the pricing. For just $13.99, you get unlimited access to all the games inside, which is an amazing deal. We easily spent a couple of hours playing without ever feeling rushed or limited, hopping from game to game and reliving some childhood memories while also discovering new favorites. It’s a fantastic option for birthdays, dates, or just a casual hangout with friends. Another big plus is the location. Cidercade is right next to the beautiful Austin river walk, making it a perfect stop before or after a stroll along the water. The overall vibe is relaxed, fun, and social, which made the celebration even more special for us. We had a great time and would absolutely come back again for future events or just another fun day out. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in Austin. Cheers! 🥂
For entertainment, you can't beat $12 for unlimited games. Love this place, as it's kid-friendly, yet reserved for adults late nights. Great pizza, drinks, and vibes. Friendly staff. Unlike many arcades in town, they're on top of repairs. Machines don't sit broken or out of order for long. The patio and downtown view are spectacular. They go super hard for Halloween - it's impressive. I wish they'd create a space for paid claw machines with toys and prizes that would appeal to adults also. Love this spot.
Went on a Saturday afternoon with family. It was incredibly packed. There was a wait for Mario Kart and the shooting games. We were there for 3 hours and never got to play basketball or the motorcycle games. Skeeball and pinball were my personal favorites. The views from the patio are amazing. It was worth it just for the pictures. It's only $12 per person and there were 6 of us so that was nice but the beer was $10 each. Endless sodas are only $4. It seems very popular for birthday parties. I think seeing it once was good but we mostly came here because it started raining and we needed to kill time before out next event. I'm sure it's better when it's less packed.
Attended here whilst in town for the formula one. Wow, where to start!! It was amazing. So much choice of arcade entertainment from pinball, asteroids up to Fast and Furious driving. Food and drinks available to. We had an absolute blast as did pretty much every after person . Price was very reasonable. You pay and you play for as long as you like. After 9 pm it’s over 18’s only. Behaviour and atmosphere was impeccable all the time we were there. Seriously good fun at an amazing price. Check it out.
We had a great time at Cidercade. We loved the free-play games for such a reasonable price. We especially enjoyed the variety of pinball games. My wife is gluten and dairy intolerant, so we were thrilled that they offered pizza with gluten free crust and vegan cheese! And it tasted great! We also shared a cider flight and loved all 5 of the ones we tried. Would definitely go back if we are in Austin again. The Halloween decorations were also really fun.
