I've been upgrading my wardrobe and elevating the clothing I choose to wear for outings and work. Things just never seem to fit me well off the rack as I have large shoulders, chest and arms but a smaller waist than most retailers take into account for. I have never worked with a tailor and was extremely nervous about my clothes getting ruined or finding a lack in the quality of craftmanship. That was not the case with Classic Stitch at all! I have to say, these guys made an incredible first impression on me. The hemming on my pants looked so well done that even the original sewing didn't look as good. After being thrilled with the first two pair I dropped off, I've now brought all my pants to be hemmed. No more sloppy folds or wrinkles in my pants. I've also had a new suit jacket tailored through them. From taking in the back to having the sleeves shortened, this is the best I've felt in my own clothes. They worked overtime to meet MY deadlines for a conference and even came in a day that they are normally closed so that I could pick it up when convenient for me. Just wonderful people and very professional. The pricing is also fair but I recommend leaving a tip for how much effort they put in. If you're looking for an experienced tailor that you can trust to come through for you.....give Classic Stitch a chance. You won't regret it!

I needed a sequined dress hemmed at the last minute before a cruise. Found Classic Stitch and went the same day…he had my dress ready the very next day and it looked as if it was bought out of the store already hemmed! It draped perfectly! So pleased with the results especially the quickness. Other places were giving 2 week timeframes and cost more than I paid for the dress! I’m glad I found him. Now my husband said he’s gonna use him too instead of expensive Men’s Wearhouse (only in on Tuesdays or whatever day it is crap) uuuggghhh.

I can’t say enough good things about Classic Stitch. I called yesterday and spoke to Abraham that l needed an urgent alteration on an outfit for an event Friday and he told me they would do it. I picked it up today and there tailor did a phenomenal job in taking it in for me, it’s now a perfect fit and l could not be happier. Only bringing my garments here from now on for alterations.

Classic Stitch is the place to go if you want your alterations done right the first time. The turn around was great, I didn't have to wait forever to get my suit back. I'll definitely be back for any other alterations I may have.

Asked them to do some modifications to a jacket and to add an extra pocket inside one of my handbags.They did such a good job with both. And it wasn't like a flimsy pocket insert. They actually chose a sturdy material and did a good job incorporating it to the style of the bag. Both the owners (I think it's a father and son shop) were so nice and kind and the pricing was fair as well. Highly recommend.
