We found our way to this inviting spot for their Fall Festival. We were warmly greeted and selected some delicious teas. I enjoyed the Intimacy Tea, and my pal loved her Innunity Tea. This spot also offers pies and pastries and we sampled the most delicious chili. This is a homey shop that you will want to make one of your regular visits.
Today I dropped in to have a bite to eat and some tea. Its my second time here and still a 10/10. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a vanilla Chai tea. Both were delightful. The sandwich was egg on a croissant with a side spinach salad. What was amazing about it you ask? It just tasted good!! And the tea was soothing and comforting. The service was helpful and kind. And the owner Leo is very gracious and has a generous smile to all visitors. I will definitely return and would recommend to anyone that is looking for a good local spot for tea and a tasty bite, and a calming atmosphere. 😋
Holaaa Classy Hippie Tea 🩷 I would like to say that I’ve learned so much in this place. The people I meet here every day continue to amaze me in every way! I feel like I’ve found a family here, along with new interests. I’m a lover of matcha lattes and chai lattes, and I’ve had the best ones here! And when it comes to tea, my favorite has been Pineapple Mimosa!!! Every time I drink it, it makes me feel peace. Gracias Classy Hippie!!!!
I went to Classy Hippie Tea for a full tasting to celebrate a family member's birthday and I had a GREAT time. Leo the owner is very knowledgeable. Not only did we enjoy 5 different tea pairings, but we received a full history lesson on where tea came from and how it made its way around the world. Leo has been studying tea for over a decade and even helped me put together a special tea blend to aid with energy and indigestion. The decor is very colorful and the music is calming. This is a wonderful place for the tea enthusiasts and novices alike. Check them out!

We had the pleasure of attending one of their weekly High Tea events held on Saturdays, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Leo, the owner and certified tea sommelier, whose passion for tea is contagious. He personally guided us through the tasting, sharing fascinating stories and deep insights about each tea's origin, history, and cultural significance. It was like taking a global journey-without ever leaving downtown Sacramento. Each tea was expertly paired with food, resulting in what could only be described as a five-course culinary experience. From fresh seasonal fruits to perfectly prepared salmon and a variety of small bites in between, every detail was carefully curated to complement and elevate the tea. Each course felt intentional, thoughtful, and full of flavor. What made the day even more memorable was that we happened to be the only ones booked for this particular weekend, turning it into an intimate, private tea tasting. As we were celebrating the bachelorettes, this personalized experience made the occasion all the more special. I've attended many high tea events before, but this was truly unlike any other. It's a perfect blend of education, flavor, culture, and atmosphere-an experience that satisfies both the mind and the palate. Whether you're a tea enthusiast or just looking for something unique to do in Sacramento, Classy Hippie Tea Company is an absolute must. It's more than a tea tasting; it's a journey.
