First, the driving instructors are incredible. They made my nervous son feel at ease immediately. They communicated via text clearly and kept us in the loop about what to expect. Next, the customer service department is one of the best I have ever worked with. They responded to my questions promptly and courteously. I had a simple question, texted them, and 5 minutes later I not only had an answer but an offer to provide me with examples to explain the response. I couldn't believe it. I'm so pleased with the whole experience. I HIGHLY recommend Coastline Academy for anyone needing drivers education.

We ended up booking here because of the long wait for appointments at the DMV and we are happy we did! Our son completed the driving test at Coastline and before hand he was able to work with the instructor in a short one on one session which made him more comfortable.

We are actually First Class Driver customers. When we signed up for the school, the company was transitioning ownership. We love First Class Driver instructors! They are knowledgeable, fun and friendly, they put the young drivers at ease. If I had know the policy changes by Coastline prior to signing my son up, I would have looked for a different driving school. Coastline has a 72 hr cancellation process and if you try to reschedule or cancel within those 72 hours then drivers have to pay a fee and if the fee is not paid by a set date then they will deactivate the account. For example, I tried to reschedule a lesson within 48 hours from my son's lesson, Coastline charged me a small fee of $32, the representative said they were going to send me an email to pay the fee. The email was sent not by Coastline but from a different company and the email went to my junk folder, so the fee was not paid within the allotted time. I tried scheduling a new lesson and I found out my account was deactivated. I called Coastline and was told it was deactivated due to non-payment. I told the representative that I paid for the school in full $500+ and he said that was not the fee he was talking about it was the $32. I advised the representative that I had not received the email for payment and he then told me what to look for. I paid the fee and then I was able to get back into my account. I dislike and disapprove with this practice, I would have never agreed to those terms.

Driving program is ok but when you get ur certificate it is noted that u still need to take the driving computer test at the Texas Dept of Public Safety and per the rep we talked to “you took this online course for nothing then bc it’s supposed to waive the driving test. That is literally the point. You could have come in and just paid the $33 and taken our test. You didn’t need their program “ So basically other than doing maybe on road lessons . This program is a waste of money.
