Coconut Joe's is a BBQ restaurant with a beach vibe in the middle of Bakersfield, CA. The Salmon Sandwich will satisfy your hunger, grilled to perfection. Quite a few side choices.

We tried the tri tip burrito and the deep pit burritos. Delicious! Gumbo soup was very good, bit the onion rings?? OMG! So good! The food was all so good, we got more to go! The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was awesome. Will definitely be coming back!

Cool laid back atmosphere! The chicken, tri tip plate is always delicious as well as the fish and chips. Recently, I dropped in to have the famous Paradise Burger.👍

I had an amazing meal at Coconut Joe’s! Their Hawaiian Burger is one of the best I’ve ever had — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with fresh pineapple and a delicious sauce that brings all the flavors together. I also tried their Fish and Chips with Clam Chowder, and it did not disappoint. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender inside, the fries were golden and tasty, and the clam chowder was creamy and comforting — the perfect combination. The staff was friendly, and the laid-back atmosphere made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for great food and good vibes, Coconut Joe’s is definitely worth a visit!
