⭐☆☆☆☆ Rude, Unprofessional, and Poor Quality Work If I could give zero stars, I would. The man who answered the phone was polite and helpful, but the actual seamstress was one of the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with. Within two minutes of meeting her, I wanted to walk out. She offered no guidance whatsoever and acted irritated that I didn’t already know what needed to be done to the dress which completely defeats the purpose of going to a tailor in the first place. As a customer, you go to a professional for their expertise, not to be made to feel stupid for asking questions. I was required to pay in full upfront before even trying the dress on, and it took almost a month to get it back. When I finally did, the alterations were terrible the dress was too short, and only one side of the waist was taken in, leaving the fit uneven and unflattering. I left feeling upset, disrespected, and frustrated by how little care went into both the service and the work itself. Thankfully, I’ve since found another tailor who was kind, knowledgeable, and immediately knew what needed to be done a complete night-and-day difference. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere. There are far more professional and skilled alteration services in Columbus.

i took my dress to get altered here & they gave it back to me with none of the alterations done that i paid almost $300 for except for a hem, the stitching was falling out of my dress & when i requested a refund they bombarded me by telling me that when i came in for my original fitting i said i didn’t like my dress and they aren’t going to give me a refund. during the entire first fitting the lady barely spoke to me and then expected me to know exactly what i wanted done to my dress & didn’t help me whatsoever, they were both extremely rude & unprofessional & returned a botched wedding dress that i can’t even resell because it looks bad.

As someone who often needs alterations of off-the-rack garments, I so appreciate the meticulous, first-rate tailoring I can count on at Columbus Alteration Co. Delighted they are right in my neighborhood, but if they were not, I'd be willing to travel for this high quality work and service.

I needed some suit pants repaired the same day. They got it done quickly and did an excellent job! It is also very affordable. I’ll be coming here for any alterations or repairs in the future. Highly recommend!
