Their prices were very reasonable compared to other places I looked into. The staff were incredibly kind and explained everything clearly. They were also really responsive—answered my questions quickly and kept me updated throughout the repair (macbook screen) process. Highly recommend if you're looking for honest and reliable computer repair! Thanks heaps🌟
I can't speak highly enough of these two knowledgeable gentlemen, Brandon and Garth. First connection was by phone to Garth who listened and sorted out my needs there and then.My old PC had failed and I thought it was for the junk pile. My request was to have my files and photos moved onto my tablet. I finally got to meet Brendon who quickly assessed between him and Garth what needed to be done. I left my precious old PC and new tablet with them. Next morning there was an early call from Brendon that all was done. They had restored my old PC and also transferred all the info onto the tablet (in case the PC failed again). I am so thrilled to get my PC working again. I'm sure other tech's would have binned it without a second thought. I'm so grateful to them and gladly commend them for their professionalism and care....JeanK
I used this computer repair shop last year to replace my hard drive. While the service was expensive, I decided to go ahead with it, expecting quality work. Unfortunately, this year my laptop started having issues again, so I opened it up to take a look—and what I found was shocking. The inside of the laptop was a mess. Screws were missing or not properly fastened, and a protective internal cover had not been put back in place. The technician clearly did not take care when reassembling the device, and as a result, the internal components were exposed and poorly secured. Now my laptop’s body is badly damaged, and I’ve been told I’ll need to replace the entire casing just to fix it. This kind of negligence is unacceptable, especially given the high cost I paid for what I thought would be professional service. I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone. Reply to Owner: Thank you for your response. I can confirm that I did visit your shop, and I am not mistaken about the location. While I understand you may not recall every customer, especially if some time has passed, this does not invalidate my experience. The work was done in good faith and at a premium price, which is why I was especially disappointed to discover clear signs of careless workmanship when I later inspected the internals. Missing screws, a dislodged protective cover, and exposed components are not what I would expect from a professional repair. I posted this review to share my genuine experience with others, as I believe customers have the right to know what to expect. I’m not looking to damage your business unfairly—only to hold it accountable for the quality of its service.
Fixed the keyboard , but in the process they broke the component to open and close the notebook. They said was not a big problem and write in my invoice that was broken before. And then the problem got worst and they did not want to fix properly and they guy just said he would ou a bold to hold…. At the end. I am lying….
Absolutely can’t recommend The Computer Guys enough. I could give them 6 stars I would! Fixed a range of problems from setting up my new laptop, email issues and were so friendly and highly professional! Thanks so much Lawson and Gareth for saving 20 years of work and emails!
