The customer service was excellent! We had a wonderful host for the birthday party we had here. We had such a great time and the kids were ecstatic about the go karts, using actual tokens, and getting actual tickets versus using a card like other places. I had my daughter’s party here because my Mom had a party for me at the same age about 27 years ago and I thought it would be a full circle moment 🥰 I’m so glad we had a good experience but Cool Crest needs a serious update and renovations completed. The carpeting, lighting, games, and outdoor area need to be updated. Overall, we had a good time and the party was affordable. The package we paid for was amazing and the kids got to use the play place, have a choice of golf, go karts, or extra tokens. Thank you guys for the amazing customer service and experience 🥰
Ok Cool Crest owners...at least make it seem like you are trying. The current state of this iconic family fun center is so disappointing. I remember commercials from the early 90s and Cool Crest seemed almost magical. But during our visit last weekend it was clear the current owners couldn't possibly care any less about the safety or enjoyment of their patrons. $10ea to play a round of mini golf on a course that is so neglected, your ball can get stuck on the green of several holes and there might just be Zika virus mosquitos in the water features that actually work. Everything was sticky. The balls, clubs, pencils, tables, door handles...everything. the go karts were fun.
Brought my 3 yo to run around in someplace cooler than the 95 degree weather outside. I can really only review the arcade area as we did not play mini golf or do anything else that was outside. We spent a fun hour or so indoors. Only spent 3 dollars on a wrist band so that he could play in the soft play area. He had fun, but it was pretty small so he got bored with it pretty quickly, which is unusual for my high energy toddler. Employees were polite. Restroom smelled gross. ik it's a restroom, but still.... It also wasn't handicap accessible. Maybe there might be another one somewhere that I didn't see, but if that is something you need to be concerned about I would call them first and inquire before heading out there. Place was worn around the edges quite a lot, but I didn't see anything being worn to the point of it not being safe.
I’m sad to leave this review as I loved coming here as a child and was excited to finally be able to bring my child who is now old enough to play miniature golf. The cashier was kind enough to let my 6 year old have a free game as it was her birthday and we chose the kings area because it was the most shaded but was sad to see what condition it was in when we started playing. What used to be a course with animatronic moving characters is now nothing more than aged green turf that is ripped and causing creases that affect the golf ball going into the hole. The alligator we had to pull open his mouth to even get the balls in and one eye that lights up was missing. The rocket ship is completely gone and now is just metal and brick. At the end you could win a buy one, get one ticket if you get your golf ball into the hole and we did but didn’t get a ticket because the machine was broken. Inside isn’t any better as there is water damage in the walls, wall trim falling off or missing and it smells musty as there is likely mold. I tried to peek at the other courses to see if they were better and there was a different alligator working but that was the only one I found that moved. There was a creepy clown that seemed broken but if I remember he is supposed to be moving. We sadly will not be back.
