Wanted to like this place as the set up is nice, but was super disappointed when watching my dog on the live cam they off. A female employee that was supposed to be watching the dogs was glued to her phone the entire time. There was a dog being aggressive with multiple other dogs and she missed over half of those interactions because she literally never looked up from her phone. The dogs' safety is more important than whatever is on your phone, you are working! The higher up's need to do better at managing their staff so that dogs don't get hurt because it's a problem waiting to to happen. I watched off and on for a full day, she was glued to her phone the entire time. Never engaging or paying attention to the dogs at all.
This place was amazing! We left our very anxious Golden Retriever Shadow there for a few night overstay. The staff was very accommodating and checking in with us daily. They made sure to ask if he was allergic to anything before giving him treats. He was a huge fan of the frozen peanut butter. When we showed up to pick him up, he wanted to stay and keep playing with his new "friends" that he has made. We have already booked them again for our next out of town trip.
I can't say enough great things about this place! From the moment we arrived, the staff, particularly Ellie, made my entire family feel comfortable. You could tell right away that she had a passion and love for animals that instantly made all of us feel comfortable after a long long long search for the right place to leave our furry friend! Leaving your pet behind is never easy, but Cottonwood made it a stress-free experience for me, my family, and most importantly our pet! I now have complete peace of mind knowing there's a place where our dog is not just cared for—but genuinely loved! Highly, highly recommend to any pet parent looking for a trusted home away from home. We’ll definitely be back!
I love this place! Brittany is amazing!!!!! My dog loves it here. She is truly the best and makes it such a good experience. My dog always comes home happy and like she just had the time of her life. 10/10 recommend!
Needed a good place for our year old puppy when we couldn't take her with us for our daughter's wedding. The accommodations were very good. The staff was delightful and warm with our bundle of joy. Dolly seemed to enjoy her time & the staff at Cottonwood.
