We just finished our 4th time at Countdown Games and just the same with the other visits, it was fantastic. Great themes, well thought-out rooms and puzzles, and they are one of the only places to really play with vertical space for many of their rooms. Highly recommend, you won't find a better escape room place.

We had an absolute blast! Our game got started a little bit late, not to any fault of our own. We did the Ghost Town room with a group of six, including a small child. It was so fun and immersive. We can’t wait to go back and do another!

I would say that Countdown Games is one of my favorite activities to do in Lexington. Every time I go, it’s a new adventure. My family and I recently visited the new Ghost Town escape room, and I think the puzzles in this one are very unique. The attention to detail was impressive, from the beer taps changing color depending on which one you used to the dancing you had to do to move on to the next section of the game. I would say that there are some hard ones, but this one was one of the easier ones that we have done. I think the main thing that makes this place great is the friendly staff and the unlimited hints, as we often get stuck on the smallest puzzles. What’s great about Countdown Games is how they bring people together and make everyone work against the clock. It’s always lovely to come back and try out the new rooms or the ones we haven’t done. Even if I get to do all of them, I will still come back and bring others who have never been to see their experience.

Lots of super creative games, but it felt too sterile... like they are more concerned with the technology instead of the passion for story lines and full experiences. Toss some little hand-held brain teaser games in the waiting area, put posters up in the lobby advertising each of the themed rooms, decorate hallways and the doors leading into the escape rooms... make it feel more like escape rooms are a passion, not just a business.
