Francine and Maria are absolutely amazing! Our dog Rosie has been looked after on multiple vacations we have taken. We know she is very well cared for and we can relax when we are on holidays.

The best home away for your pets, 40 minutes drive out of Ottawa is worth it, I am so Thankful to Francine and Maria who are the best caring and loving people I ever met, they treated my furry baby as their own, and they took care of him, Wall-E spent 13 days at the resort in August, he is a diabetic dog, the first day he refused to eat one of his meals, so he was not able to get his insulin shot; Scary moment!! They tried to hand-feed him, took him to their office, and added treats to the food, he was stubborn and did not eat, right away they called his Vet and consulted her about Wall-e's situation. They followed her advice; they informed me with every step, and I was at ease to know how professionally they handled the situation, Wall-e was so happy and healthy when we picked him up. I would recommend the Country Spaw Resort to everyone, the best place ever!!!

We have been going to Country Spaw for over 10 years. Francine and Maria are so loving and caring with dogs and people alike. Our sweet boxer Tessa passed Dec 24 2020 and the first person I called after the vet was Francine. Francine made arrangements for a vet to come to our home and she was here in Kanata in an hour and a half. She made a terrible day a lot more bearable and we cannot thank her enough. Our dogs loved going to the kennel and would jump out of the car all excited when they got there. Francine and Maria have always been very attentive and once when we were gone Francine actually took our lab, Abby, to the vet in North Gower. We travel a few times a year now that we are retired and I would not be doing that if I had an ounce of concern for our dogs. Francine and Maria are the best, the kennel is great and we will be bringing our new puppy there for socializing when we get her. Thank you for all you do. We love you. This is a beautiful place with amazing owners. I completely feel like these ladies would love my dog as much as I do, in my absence. Super clean kennel set-up and a huge, open play space for your dogs to play, that they likely don't even realize they are securely enclosed. This is the amazing country styled holiday-from-home that your doggo is dreaming of!

I have been taking my dogs here regularly for a few years. They are very attentive to the individual needs of each dog. With a new puppy in the family, the dogs are there several days a week for daycare. It has been great for developing a well-socialised puppy. And a tired puppy doesn't chew furniture! The dogs are always so happy to arrive there and some days, they don't want to leave!
