Cool trendy atmosphere and service, but the pizza is just GREAT!!!! Closet thing to NY style pizza, I have tasted in Ontario. Will come back for sure. Hamilton apparently is considered the pizza capital of Canada, fighting for the title with Windsor. Will be exploring more pizza joints around.

Cowabunga Pizza in Hamilton is absolutely amazing! The pizza is perfectly cooked with a golden, crispy crust and fresh, flavorful toppings. The wings are juicy and well-seasoned, and the Parmesan fries are pure heaven, crispy, cheesy, and addictively good. Every bite is full of flavor, and the portions are generous. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and efficient, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, Cowabunga Pizza is a must-visit for anyone craving incredible pizza, wings, and fries. Truly a standout spot in Hamilton!

The pizzas took almost an hour to make because they burned them in the oven and had to remake them. The 1up pizza was delicious. The honey really made the flavour profile stand out. It would be even better if there was mushrooms like the North of brooklyn one. The cowabunga pizza tasted like a chinese crepe... which I was not expecting at all. I regretted getting that pizza. The truffle waffle fries and garlic knots were decent. Took a long detour to visit this place but I would not recommend. Pizzas were small given the price you're paying. There are better options for pizza like North of brooklyn and Badiali.

I checked out Cowbunga after hearing about their award-winning pizza, and I can see why there’s so much buzz. I ordered the Margherita pizza, and it was genuinely delicious, the crust was perfectly crispy and had that satisfying crunch, and you could tell it was made with care. It’s a simple, classic pizza, but it was executed really well, which says a lot about the quality of the place. I also tried the Lemon Pepper Plus boneless bites. The chicken was juicy and crisp, not soggy at all, but the flavour itself was just okay, nothing special. I wish they offered a wider variety of flavours for the bites since the texture was great. The restaurant wasn’t crowded when I went, and there was plenty of seating, which made the experience comfortable and relaxed. The service was quick and friendly, and the staff member I spoke to was super nice and gave great suggestions. Fun fact — Cowbunga actually won “Best Cheese Slice in the World” at the International Pizza Challenge in Las Vegas, which definitely caught my attention and made me want to try it in the first place! Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. The Margherita pizza was the star of the meal, and I can’t wait to try their other pizza flavours. If I’m ever in Hamilton again, I’ll definitely stop by for another slice.

I came here with friends during a day trip from the GTA because we read online that this was ranked one of the best pizza spots on the planet. Well, I came and it definitely wasn’t. I had better pizza at Pizza Hut. It wasn’t bad at all though. We got a few different pizzas, and it was pretty good actually. The all veggie with one the broccoli and all wasn’t good at all. The cheesy one was super good. It was a bit steep in expenses but the outdoor patio was nice and the patrons were very attentive and helpful to us. Orders came after about 35 minutes or so because it was being made fresh. Would I come back? Probably not, but it’s not bad food. It’s just not that out of this world good either.
