I recently got my ears pierced with Trevor at CowPok on Elmwood. I’m super happy with my piercing and the overall experience. CowPok was extremely clean, and had quality jewelry to pick from. Booking my appointment online was fast and easy. Trevor was super cool and made me feel extremely comfortable by taking his time to explain the whole process and answering any questions I had. I will definitely be back in the future!
I've had almost all of my body piercings done here, and have loved each and every one of them. The employees are fantastic. That being said, my last piercing I had done in August broke off in my ear. I have emailed CowPok repeatedly for assistance because I now have the back held in with a band-aid so the hole doesn't close up. I spent $200 for the jewelry itself, so to have it break off so soon after getting placed is very disappointing. Nobody will respond to my emails. If you're expecting any kind of customer service after you walk out the door, look elsewhere, because you won't find it here.
Everything from the ease of scheduling the appointment, the accommodations they made to pierce my daughter and I back-to-back, and the clean and vibey aesthetics to the friendly, engaging staff (Trevor was awesome! I didn't catch the beauty behind the counter's name, but she was divine!)... it all means five stars-- the best of the best! Cow Pök has been around for decades, and it's easy to see why. Their new location on Elmwood is beautiful! The receptionist and piercer (Anna) were very nice and accommodating. I needed help with a jewlery removal and they got me in right away, no charge for the help with the removal. I had great past experiences with them doing some of my piercings themselves as well, they are worth the money! I will absolutely be going back for any future piercings and/or assistance with them!
This 1 star is only to reflect the receptionist working today. Nothing to do with any of the other staff or the piercer who was amazing. This is the second time I’ve been in this establishment. In as many weeks My first experience was amazing. Today I took my son to get his ears pierced. The girl at the reception desk said there was a 45 minute wait which I didn’t have a with problem because we walked in. When it came time to picking out the jewelry, I picked out the jewelry because I was the one paying for it. The receptionist proceeded to get an attitude with me and asked me why I was picking it out when normally the one who gets the piercing is the one that picks it out. I said well I’m the one paying for this and I’m going to pick out what I want him to get. The attitude which continued after he got his piercing as I was checking out was completely unnecessary, uncalled for and downright rude. As I am his parent i had a discussion with my son about how much I was willing to spend on getting his ears pierced and what exactly he was going to be getting prior to coming in and he was fine with that. We didn’t end up waiting 45 minutes. We probably waited about 25. I was ecstatic. The piercer was great. He explained Everything thoroughly and was very pleasant.
