Tim was a terrific tour guide! We had a team building event with 13 people on segways. I was nervous that people wouldn’t be able to learn how to ride. Tim made sure each person felt comfortable and taught us all how to get on and off easily. I can’t say enough great things about the tour. I am very impressed with how well the segways worked and easy it was to jump on and off. I highly recommend this Segway group. I’ll be back. Our tour guide told stories, played music, and gave us a legit tour while on wheels.

From the moment we booked our experience with Cowtown Segway Adventures, it felt less like signing up for a tour & more like reconnecting with family. This was our 2nd tour with Tim Ballard, the owner & heart of Cowtown Segway Adventures, & returning 3 years after our 1st visit was something we had genuinely been looking forward to. We arrived excited to see an old friend—and we left Ft Worth feeling like we had gained a new family member. I was raised to be humble, polite, & respectful, & I spent several years working in the hospitality industry myself. Because of that background, I notice the details—how people are treated, the sincerity behind service, & whether hospitality comes from obligation or from the heart. Tim Ballard exceeded expectations at every turn, on so many levels, that it is difficult to fully capture just how exceptional this experience truly was. Tim is beyond hospitable. He doesn’t simply guide a tour; he creates an experience rooted in warmth, generosity, & genuine human connection. From the very beginning, he made us feel welcome, valued, & truly cared for. There was no rush, no scripted routine, & no sense that we were “just another group.” Instead, Tim made it clear that he wanted to share the very best of Ft Worth with us—its history, its culture, & its spirit. This tour took place during the Christmas season, & Ft Worth was alive with people, energy, & holiday cheer. Despite the crowds, Tim navigated us through the city with ease. His confidence, skill, & awareness made the ride feel effortless & safe, even in busy areas. At no point did we feel rushed or stressed—only relaxed, engaged, & completely immersed in the experience. One of the most remarkable things about Tim is that he never meets a stranger. Throughout the tour, he stopped to help others take group photos, offered directions, shared recommendations, & spread genuine Christmas cheer wherever we went. Watching him interact with locals & visitors alike was inspiring. His kindness wasn’t performative—it was natural, effortless, & deeply authentic. Tim has a rare ability to make everyone feel seen, welcome, & important. Tim’s recommendations were absolutely spot on. He guided us to NADC Burgers & La’ Creamian Ice Cream, & both were phenomenal. These weren’t generic tourist picks—they were thoughtfully chosen local gems that reflected Tim’s deep knowledge of & love for Ft Worth. His taste is impeccable, & we trusted his recommendations completely. Another standout highlight was Tim’s dedication to capturing memories. He took photos & videos of our group throughout the experience, never missing a moment. Even more impressive, he later created a commemorative video for us—at no extra charge. This thoughtful gesture went far beyond expectations & speaks volumes about who Tim is as a person. He didn’t just want us to enjoy the moment; he wanted us to relive it for years to come. What truly sets Cowtown Segway Adventures apart is the personal connection Tim fosters. Being an only child, the idea of gaining a “brother” is deeply meaningful to me—and that is exactly what this experience felt like. By the time we left Ft Worth, Tim was no longer just our tour guide; he was family. Returning 3 years after our 1st tour felt like coming home. Tim remembered us, welcomed us warmly, & treated us with the same enthusiasm as if no time had passed. That level of continuity & sincerity is rare, especially in tourism. In every sense, Cowtown Segway Adventures reflects Tim Ballard himself—authentic, generous, thoughtful, & unforgettable. This isn’t just a tour; it’s an experience that stays with you long after it ends. If you want to truly feel Ft Worth rather than just see it, there is no better way to do so. We returned for a 2nd tour expecting excellence based on our 1st experience—and Tim still exceeded every expectation. Ft Worth is richer for having someone like Tim Ballard sharing its story, & we are richer for having met him. Highly, enthusiastically, & wholeheartedly recommended. WOW! What a FUN way to see Ft Worth and the Trinity River! I live here and learned so many new fun things! Tim is SO knowledgeable and also so funny and entertaining! He also made sure we had plenty of awesome pictures and videos to remember the day! He tailors the trip to what the group needs and wants. I went with some coworkers and their spouses and we all had an absolute blast! We will be back to do it again! Thank you Tim for an unforgettable and fun day!!!

Amazing experience, awesome funFilled tour with videos and pictures included.Great time to spend with family, friends, coworkers. I actually came here with my boss and a few coworkers for my 5 year work anniversary best time ever! (Thank you Charles and Laura) The downtown Fort Worth area is rich with history, And beautiful buildings! Great restaurants definitely worth the time. And very reasonable prices. Tim, is fun and very animated, makes the tour very lively and engaging.. And very patient, if you've never rode one of these things it's definitely a learning experience😁....We're actually are thinking about coming back later this month for my son's birthday celebration.
