A fantastic course for anyone at the beginning of their creative arts journey. The class was led by Brian, an exceptionally attentive, composed, and encouraging tutor who created a calm and supportive learning environment from start to finish. His confident yet gentle approach was genuinely inspiring and motivated me to continue exploring, learning, and experimenting with new ways of approaching my art. The atmosphere was relaxed and pressure-free, which made it easy to engage creatively without fear or tension—an aspect I really appreciated. I’m incredibly grateful to Brian for broadening my perspective and introducing me to a range of creative techniques that will undoubtedly help elevate my work moving forward. I’m very keen to take part in future courses at the studio and continue developing under his guidance.

Just completed the 10 week Art Elements course led by Brian. Really enjoyable way to get back into art practice playing with different media and techniques. Brian’s structured and informative sessions and his gentle guidance gave me the confidence to go for it and try new things. Will definitely look at further courses. Rebecca

I did Brian's 10 week Art Elements course and it was truly brilliant! I am a complete beginner and I found the course insightful, great fun and really enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed the Begin to draw + paint course with Brian. The 2 day weekend course was challenging but nonetheless very enjoyable. He has a relaxed and amenable style whilst at the same time attentively looking after his students to ensure they get the most out of the course. There was a particular part of the course, drawing measuring techniques, which I felt I needed a little more help with. Brian very kindly invited me back to his studio in his own time to go through it again with me. Thanks Brian! Will see you soon!

I took part in the Experimental Drawing and Mixed Media Textures weekend courses at Creative Art Courses in Manchester—and it was absolutely brilliant!
