The red fish tacos were excellent. The guacamole is nasty. I had to ask the server what was wrong with the guac, why is it sweet they use caramelized onions and no jalapeño. Just make it traditional with mild jalapeño red onions etc. I'll definitely go back the decoration is nice and the covered glass area is really nice.
Probably the best margarita I’ve had. It was coconut lime. I loved the crispy chips and salsa was amazing. Great service too! 100% going back.
We had the best service I’ve experienced in a long time! We were seated by the kindest waitress, who asked about allergies without being prompted, which I really appreciated. We had some of the best Mexican food in KC, and the margaritas were incredible and absolutely worth the price. I’ll absolutely be back again soon! also this makes for a perfect date night ;)
My partner and I had an excellent experience here on Friday! I definitely recommend getting a reservation- it was very busy. We were seated quickly, the service was fast, the food was great and THE DRINKS. I was very impressed with the Cactus Water (highly recommend)!
Walking in to the space you are greeted by a warmly built room that is open and also cozy. The one thing I noticed immediately was the oversized barstools that allow for more comfort and keep patrons from stacking on top of themselves. Started with guac and and frozen margarita. The chips are housemade from flour tortillas. The guac was fresh and had tomatoes and red onion chunks which added a nice flavor. The table salsa was fresh and tasted like it, very good way to start. The frozen marg was good but the value for me wasn't there, most likely because it came in a plastic cup which I understand but did distract from the quality of the drink for me. For dinner I had the fire roasted half chicken over corn and wow was it nicely done. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the corn was not only a very sizable serving but had a well balanced flavor and great texture. Val provided exceptional service and checked in on a regular basis. Val was professional but friendly and made us feel welcome. I am looking forward to dining in the glass dining room and the patio once the weather gets nicer.
