This is not your average shop and these are not your average artists. I’ve been here twice and if I find more space to get more ink, I will be back. Let’s start with V, she is an amazing artist super friendly and my opinion one of the best in the country with patch or sticker tattoos, but don’t put her in box, great artist. Now let’s talk about Shelby. From start to finish her process is so professional. Takes your concept and runs with it. Her color work is to die for. Her line work is immaculate. She tattoos like she been doing it for 50 years. You can feel the experience as you’re getting inked. Listen, Don’t be afraid to challenge either of these artists, they are up for it, I know I did. I can not thank both of these women enough for what they did for me. The shop is fantastic. This is not a street shop with sweaty mustaches. It has a salon feel, private, clean, well lit and well cared for. Whether it’s your first tattoo or your 50th this is a great place to go. 10 thumbs up!
I can’t say enough great things about Robb at Crown and Feather. He brought my pet tribute locket and teddy bear tattoo to life and completely exceeded my expectations. The detail is incredible. The thin delicate lines and tiny individual hair strokes give the piece so much softness and realism without feeling heavy. Robb is easy to talk to, and really listens. He takes direction well, checks in throughout the session, and makes the experience as comfortable and painless as possible. From start to finish, it was an amazing experience, and I am absolutely in love with my tattoo. I would highly recommend Robb to anyone.
Absolutely can and will recommend Crown and Feather for pet portrait. The studio was clean and inviting, I believe there were 4 others getting tattoos at the same time and there plenty of space and privacy for each artist and person receiving their service. The communication between my artist and I was very clear and detailed in what I hoped for, what the cost would be - how to make a deposit and such, in how to arrive with parking and entry as it's a semi-private space. My artist, Dylan was amazing in asking my desired results and providing ideas asking for input. It really was an amazing experience, a memorial piece for my sweet pup, I was beyond thrilled and touched at the detail he provided. I never felt rushed, nor did I feel anyone else receiving a service there did that day. It was a great positive space and every artist was amazing to see in action. There was a great sense of kindness and respect amongst them all. It was amazing g to see the giving back portion, an auction of skateboards for Philabundance, so many amazing works of art are up for auction. Grateful for the time and experience I was able to have.
I had a fantastic experience working with Robb at Crown and Feather for the design and execution of my tattoo. He was very responsive and collaborative with incorporating things that were important to me into the tattoo drawing. During the tattoo process, he was very efficient and I very much enjoyed our conversation and interaction. I look forward to our next session and appreciated his time, talent, and artistry!
I've been tattooed by multiple artists at Crown and Feather, and highly recommend this studio! I have been tattooed by Dylan Carr, Jess (nizzybop) & Robb - all of them were awesome. They're all amazing artists and super nice people. The shop itself is gorgeous and laid back. All of my tattoos are beautiful, detailed, and healed so well. I get complimented on each of them all the time! You should definitely check out C&F and all the incredible artists there!
