This review is specifically for Leena. She is truly a healer. I had a pain in my shoulder for weeks. In one session she found it right away and worked it out. This is not a “soft, put you to sleep” kind of massage. It’s somewhat painful and you will be sore the next day but it works.
I’ve had a lot of massages in my life—across the country and in different countries—and this was hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. Absolutely phenomenal. I booked the 115-minute Thai Jade Gua Sha massage at Crown Thai in Montclair, and everything about it was perfect. My therapist, Dedee, is Thai and truly gifted. The pressure was exactly right—firm, intuitive, and somehow effortless. You know that kind of massage where you’re not quite sure how they’re doing what they’re doing because you’re drifting in and out of awareness, but every single move just feels right? That’s what this was. Dedee did focused work on my legs and feet, which I’d requested, but the whole-body flow was seamless. Deep work, gentle stretches, just the right amount of heat—and then the gua sha at the end, which was the perfect closing touch. Cool jade tools on my face and neck that somehow made everything feel even more grounded and relaxed. I walked out of there in a daze—in the best possible way. If you’re looking for something far beyond a basic massage, this is it. Book with Dedee if you can. She’s on another level.
Have been coming here a while now for Swedish massages since moving to the area. Leena is the best !! She’s so kind and always listens to my problem areas, her massages are magic. I also love that this feels like a true small business, prices are reasonable, and there’s often last minute availability. Would definitely recommend !

Highly recommend if you’re new to Thai massage, as she combines Deep Tissue massage with traditional Thai stretching. Crown Thai Massage is a wonderful addition to Montclair Village, with talented and trained massage therapists, and it’s easy to book online. Relaxing and clean – soft music and aromatic oils always add a luxurious touch. A delightful escape that's worth every penny.
