The staff were very welcoming! It took no time to get into an exam room (which is ideal for our cats since they're very high stress), and upon Dr. Bartley's arrival for exams, she approached both our cats with fear free practices, and a pace that allowed them to calm rather than increasing stress. Dr. Bartley was so thorough, so knowledgeable, and so willing to educate and discuss the ins and outs. They also have an online store that I can order from for my one cat who is on a hypo diet. Amazing! I feel like our cats are in phenomenal hands at Dakota.

We recently received our paw prints from the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our sweet Suzie, and the team at Dakota Veterinary Hospital handled every moment with such compassion and kindness. From the way they spoke to her, to the care they took in giving us time, space, and dignity through the process — it meant more than I can put into words. They walked us through everything gently and without rushing, and they treated Suzie like family right up until her final moment. It was peaceful, respectful, and full of love — exactly what you hope for when you have to say goodbye to a pet who’s been a part of your life for so long. Losing her was incredibly hard, but having a team who showed so much empathy made all the difference. I’m truly grateful for the care and compassion they gave both to her, and to us.

I’ve been going to Dakota vet since about 2013-14. Everyone there is very friendly. Great desk staff. What I love about taking my girl there is she’s never feared this veterinarian office. She’s 14 now & the place before would be a bit of trouble to get her inside. She’d shake. She’d have massive anxiety. All the veterinarians there are great but after we started seeing Dr. Bartley she started pulling me in the doors of the vet. Hop up on the scale or grab a seat on the bench. Maybe I’ve just been lucky with my girl but there too I don’t feel like I have to take out a second mortgage to pay for my dogs care. Their pricing is almost on par as if you took your animal to a rural area vet.

Dr. Jocelyn Beggs is a top notch Doctor and an exceptionally kind human being. We have followed her to every Vet clinic she has worked at, and Dakota is one of our favourites! Endlessly patient reception staff and skilled, caring veterinary technicians as well. Highly recommend the entire team for cradle to grave veterinary care.
