We had a great experience with dog boarding. The staff was friendly and clearly cares about the dogs, which made me feel comfortable leaving my pup there. I really appreciated the updates and photos — it was nice to see my dog happy and relaxed. Pick-up was easy, and my dog came home tired in a good way. Definitely a place I’d use again.

I travel with my pup quite often and hate leaving him in my hotel room by himself. I just needed a few hours of daycare during the Labor Day holiday weekend and every business said they were at capacity due to the holiday. Dallas Dog Daycare & Boarding accepted my pup immediately and the onboarding process was super easy! It was his first time attending daycare and he had so much fun and I received pictures/updates throughout the day! They also bathed him before sending him home and he was soft and smelled amazing! I totally recommend this business especially if you travel with your pup! Thank you for taking care of my fur baby! I will be sending Capone to daycare next time I’m in Dallas!

As a dedicated pet parent, I feel it’s important to share our experience, even though I don't want to harm anyone's business. I want to start by acknowledging that the owners were responsive to our concerns and did refund our stay, but I believe others should be informed about what we went through. My partner and I decided to board our 8-pound Havanese while we took a trip, marking the first time we had ever left her with anyone outside of friends or family. This was already a nerve-wracking decision for us, but we felt we had no other choice. We were assured that all dogs needed to be vaccinated and would be placed with others of similar size, which eased our concerns about our dog's safety and health. Unfortunately, this was not the experience we had. At drop-off, no one asked for her vaccination records, and the process felt rushed, as if they were eager to take her back to her kennel and send us on our way. As first-time boarding parents, this was a bit unsettling, but we felt we had no other option at that point. Throughout the week, we received “pawgress reports” with attached images. Early on, we noticed that she appeared to be foaming at the mouth, which was alarming since it was completely out of character for her. She is a regular walker and has never shown any such symptoms. Additionally, we observed that she was placed with dogs weighing at least 50 pounds. Unfortunately, we were in a location where we couldn’t make direct phone calls, so we communicated via email. When we expressed our concerns, we were told she was fine and that the foaming was due to their misters. However, I can distinguish between a wet dog and a dog truly foaming at the mouth. They also claimed she was with larger, older dogs that had calm temperaments. If you inform your clients that their dog will only be with those 30 pounds and under, it’s unacceptable to disregard that policy, regardless of the temperament of larger dogs. This caused me great concern during our trip. When we finally picked her up, she seemed extremely exhausted, which we initially attributed to her playing with other dogs. However, that evening she began to show signs of illness, sneezing, coughing, lethargy, and a lack of appetite. Despite being fully vaccinated and having her canine flu vaccine, the lack of verification of her records raised concerns about whether she had been around unvaccinated dogs. Unfortunately, we had to take her to the vet the following Saturday as her condition worsened. She spent over eight hours there undergoing tests and receiving treatment, which resulted in an unexpected vet bill exceeding $800. When we reached out to the owners, they informed us that they had sent an employee to our vet to learn about her condition. This felt inappropriate; it's strange to send someone to our dog's vet without first discussing it with us. Our dog was eventually diagnosed with a severe upper respiratory infection, likely caused by kennel cough or a flu virus. She was prescribed two antibiotics for ten days and took some time to recover. While the owners did refund her stay, we were still left with that hefty vet bill, ongoing concern for our pet, and considerable frustration. This situation could have been avoided. They could have properly checked her vaccination records and those of the other dogs. If she was showing health concerns during her stay, like foaming at the mouth or coughing, they should have alerted us immediately. Additionally, they should have adhered to their policy of keeping her with dogs under 30 pounds. I appreciate the owners’ quick responses, but I would advise caution when considering boarding your dog here.
