I hate that it requires to give one star. The 4 months we used them for viola lessons we HORRIBLE. The staff has no idea what the heck they are doing. After several issues they cancelled my daughter's last 2 lessons randomly in December and refused refunding us. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to switch to Garter music. It's been amazing and I highly recommend them. Not only did Damm loose out on our business as far as lessons but also won't be buying our permanent highschool instrument from them here in a few months. Xander is a childish jerk. The only decent thing was the instructor.
Do NOT do business here! Go anywhere else but here. We paid on my son’s instrument for over 3 years and when it came down to the final payment back in January, they’re saying they didn’t receive it and now randomly without a WORD since December 2024, they came and took my son’s instrument from him in first 2 weeks of high school band! We are out over $1,000 and I’m sure Damm will just resell it or “rent” it for more profit. Literally go ANYWHERE else but here.
Do not rent from here! We paid on an instrument worth $400 for over 3 years (over $1,000 paid in total) and they came to my son’s school and took it over a discrepancy of $127. A final payment in which I called to set up back in January 2025! I hadn’t heard a single word from Damm music stating the payment was missed or not processed and now my son who’s in his 4th year of band no longer has an instrument! And Brian is refusing to make it right. Now telling me I need to pay another $227 if I want it back. You guys should be ashamed. Do NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!
We went in today with a ton of questions about guitars. Torey answered all our questions and more! He was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Was wanting to get my son who’s slightly autistic a drum set as he’s been wanting one and would be a good way to stimulate his mind. Didn’t want to go through the big box stores, used to play guitar and piano so know both the small business and the big ones. They were very attentive and informational, the guy helping me was also great on knowing my needs versus wanting a big sale. Knowing full well I know nothing of drums, I was looking for someone to explain enough and be helpful. They were both and more that I didn’t know I needed to know. Will be a returning customer.
