Dance Generation is truly a hidden gem tucked just off Gawler Place in the heart of Adelaide. We first discovered it online while searching for the perfect instructor to help us prepare for our wedding dance, and their offer of a free first class led us straight to Brett. One lesson with him was all it took—we signed up immediately. Brett is a terrific instructor: friendly, professional, and an expert dancer. He taught us the rumba for our first dance, but there are so many styles to choose from. What stood out most was his patience, fun energy, and ability to pick up on the finer details that made our routine feel polished and personal. Week after week, we looked forward to our lessons—not just for the dancing, but for the joy of sharing something playful and creative together during the often hectic lead-up to the wedding. Brett choreographed a full routine to our chosen song, and he did a brilliant job. On the night, we felt confident, relaxed, and had so much fun performing our dance—it was one of the highlights of our celebration. Beyond the wedding, learning to dance has been such a rewarding experience that we’re excited to continue with Dance Generation. If you’re looking for a place to learn, connect, and create lasting memories, Brett and Dance Generation are second to none.
We had the lovely Meredith coach us in our Wedding Dance and WE HAD THE BEST TIME; the wedding night itself went seamlessly, and with the grounding taught to us in the basic steps + all the little tips Meredith shared for how to deal with any eventuality - we felt super confident and relaxed going in to it. We also loved the dance lessons themselves - a series of lovely date nights themselves in the lead up to our wedding :-). Thankyou Meredith

My husband and I got a last minute wedding dance lesson 2 days before our wedding. We are so sorry we can’t remember our instructor’s name but she was awesome! We learnt an amazing dance with some spins, lifts and a dip in just 1.5 hours and nailed it on our wedding day! Thank you so much! Will definitely recommend too guys
My partner Rachael and I got lessons from Dance Generation Adelaide for our first dance for our wedding. Vicki was amazing at catering to our requests, and specifically requested to be our teacher as she also had a love for Queen! She made such a beautiful routine for us, and constantly was adjusting it for us as we improved our skill. She was very invested in our progress and we wouldn't of had anywhere near as beautiful of a dance without her amazing instruction! Thank you Vicki and Dance Generation for the skills towards our amazing night!
