I always love the way she makes me look--which is always appropriate for the occasion. And I appreciate that she knows how to gently nudge me to try new looks. The most recent was to wear a dark lipstick, which I would never have tried. Don't hesitate to entrust her to do your makeup. You will not be disappointed.

I drove from Wisconsin to work with Dawn, and I am so happy I did! She was very thorough, helping me go through the makeup and tools I have, to see which ones ACTUALLY work with my features and skin type. She also found me a foundation that matches me color wise, and doesn’t emphasize the texture of my skin. Dawn helped me with a basic, every day routine, and then with how to add for more glam events when needed. Then, after showing me how to create the look, she watched me and offered VERY helpful pointers throughout my application. It was amazing to have a talented makeup artist to actually be able to help with products and techniques that work for specifically *for* me, rather than doing whatever TikTok says is the best. Dawn made our session so much fun. She not only knows her stuff, but she made me feel at ease, and I felt like I was learning from an old friend. It can be intimidating to learn new things, especially when it pertains to anything beauty related, but I never felt that way with Dawn. I appreciate that so much! If you are looking for a talented makeup artist, whether for an event, or for a lesson on how to improve your own technique, you can be confident that Dawn will come with amazing skills, and a great eye. But most importantly, she’ll come with the ability to make you feel comfortable, and confident. And then you’ll leave your session looking like a 90s supermodel 😍

More than 5 stars! Dawn was patient and incredibly knowledgeable about makeup. I’m in my late 40’s and wanted to learn age appropriate makeup techniques. I showed her a face tuned photo of how I wanted to look, and she flawlessly taught me the look. I brought my own makeup/brushes and incorporated some of her recommended products. I’m singing her praises to my friends and would highly encourage anyone interested in this service to only book her!
