Recently got my lashes done with Jalisa. I am very picky and want a full volume look. She did an amazing job! Not only did she listen and ask questions to guarantee she knew what I wanted but she was gentle and attentive. Will be going back just for her!
Very pleasant and did a wonderful job with the more natural lash look I was going for. i highly recommend this shop especially if you want a bit more natural. This is the only place I know that has that service as another option if you don’t want the full lash extension look.
I tried the TrueXpress lash deal for $99 and it was not worth it. They used cluster lashes and not individual ones. I asked for shorter length in the inner eyelid and fanning out to longer length on the outer eyelid. It took about an hour. As soon as I left and got into my car a couple clusters were already falling out. Cluster lashes do not look as natural as there are visible bulbs at the end where the cluster of lashes meet. Lashes were not placed at the outer end of my lashes so it didn’t look full. I got them on Wednesday afternoon and by Sunday morning, they have all fallen out by 98%. I wouldn’t recommend this service and would not get them again. I adhered to aftercare rules of not getting them wet for 24 hours and used oil free cleansers and kept them clean from makeup.
Edit: I was almost immediately contacted after I posted my previous two star review. I was asked in more detail about my visit. After excellent communication, it was determined that there was some miscommunication and misunderstanding on what I wanted. It was also determined that starting over with Deka lash products, I would have a better outcome rather than mixing products from my previous tech. I'm glad to say that I am happy with my results now and with the tech that currently does my lashes. I did not experience any retaliation and I feel very comfortable there. I felt like the owner truly cared about my experience! Original review: The area seemed clean and the tech was quiet but nice. I'm not entirely happy with the results. The lashes seem uneven to me and I don't like the look. I will admit I am coming in from a different tech, so maybe she wasn't able to match the style. For the cost, though, I expect a better outcome.
I had an appointment with Hannah B. at Deka Lash about 4 days ago, and it was actually my first time getting lash extensions! How exciting. :) I was a bit nervous about how they would turn out, but Hannah did an amazing job! She was super sweet and kind. She performed a light volume set on my lashes. She recommended that getting a light volume set was a good idea since it was my first time getting extensions. At first, I was worried that the volume might look too heavy on me, but Hannah knew exactly how to balance it to achieve a natural look that still made my eyes pop. I feel really confident with them, it gives off bad b**** energy or whatever. It feels nice not to have to put on falsies and mascara everytime. The service actually felt really nice, to the point where I almost fell asleep LOL. So overall, I was extremely happy with the results and would definitely recommend Deka Lash to anyone looking for high quality lash extensions. Ask for Hannah B.!! She’s awesome. Also, since I was a first-timer, I didn't have a lot of knowledge when it came to after-care and stuff like that, but Hannah was very helpful in explaining what I had to do and what to buy to maintain my new lashes. Aside from the amazing service, the salon was very nice and had a pleasant ambiance. I went in the morning, and it was a bit cold, but they provided blankets, which was a nice touch. All in all, it was a great experience, and I can't wait to go back for my next appointment when I get my refills and maybe I’ll get my eyebrows done too!
