I have been a patient of this practice for about a decade and am very disappointed with how I was recently treated. I called and tried to use the online booking system to schedule an appointment for a medical and a cosmetology treatment a couple months ago. My goal was to book both appointments around the same time on the same day. The systems the associates use to book appointments are different for medical and cosmetology appointments, so I had to call back and forth multiple times. I eventually gave up and ended up coming back on two separate days for the appointments. Apparently the back and forth caused an automated cancellation fee of $75 for two appointments. I have come to the office three times since this happened and nobody mentioned to me that I have these outstanding balances! I just got a letter in the mail saying I owe them for the cancellation fee. Most recently I was supposed to have an appt on the 23rd of December and I called the day before to cancel, not knowing their policy is 72 hours, not the standard 24 hours. I called the billing department and they did wave the cancellation fees from the time when i had trouble scheduling the same day appointment because that was their fault for booking confusion. I asked if they could give me a credit to use for my next appointment instead of charging me $75 for cancelling my most recent appointment less than 72 hours in advance and was told it's their policy to only wave the fee once. Well, if the fee from scheduling confusion was not my fault, would not the December cancellation be considered as the first time in a decade of me being a patient? I asked if they were willing to loose a loyal patient over $75 and was told "yes" because they were just following their "one cancel fee waver" policy. I paid the $75 and will go for all my future appointments somewhere else. There are plenty of practices providing dermatology services and this one clearly does not care to keep their patients.
Dr. Cragun and his team are amazing, I was able to meet Jessica today and she was equally amazing. I can’t say enough good things around dermatology San Antonio practice. They have been a huge positive impact to my quality of life with my rare skin issues, and the treatment plans they’ve recommended have put me on a wonderful path to healing, recovery and loving looking in the mirror!!!
Yvonne is terrific! Dermatology exam offices can be intimidating but she really helps set you at ease with her professional and compassionate way of communicating. She explains things simply and really listens to patient concerns without judgment. Highly recommended!
Dr. Chad Cragun was fantastic, knowledgeable, and transparent when I came in for scar/cosmetic skin treatment. Pricing and potential results were explained thoroughly and I felt comfortable in my choice. Highly recommend.
