Brittany Mackie, PA-C, is exactly the kind of provider you hope to find and rarely do. From start to finish, she was professional, warm, and exceptionally respectful. Dermatology visits can be uncomfortable by nature, but she made the experience feel completely at ease, even in a vulnerable setting. She explained every step of the exam clearly and thoughtfully, including what she was doing, why it mattered, and what the plan would be moving forward. Nothing felt rushed or brushed off. I left feeling informed, confident in the next steps, and genuinely cared for. If you are looking for a dermatology provider who combines clinical competence with real bedside presence, I would recommend Brittany Mackie one hundred times over.
Desert Sky is clean, modern, calming, and has an incredibly kind and attentive front desk team. I especially appreciated the care from Dr. Mills and her staff. They felt genuinely invested in my concerns and clearly love what they do—there’s a strong focus on education, confidence, and long-term skin health. I first came in for a keloid removal and later returned for my first Botox injections, and throughout both visits I never felt rushed, pressured, or dismissed. Dr. Mills also went above and beyond by recommending a trusted professional for follow-up care related to my piercing, which made me feel very supported. Their office is also impressively efficient—when I reached out about prescription, they responded quickly and had it sent in the same day with no hassle. Overall, I’m very grateful I found this office at the start of my skin care journey and highly recommend Dr. Mills and her team.
I recently had an appointment with Dylan, my dermatologist, and I can't praise him and his team enough. I walked in feeling stressed, worried, and in pain, unsure if they could help me. However, Dylan and his assistant quickly made their way into the room, and their professionalism and empathy immediately put me at ease. They took the time to listen to my concerns and addressed my issues with genuine care. Not only did Dylan come up with a practical solution, but I left feeling a million times better! I was particularly impressed with how they went above and beyond, especially considering I don't have insurance. Their kindness, patience, and dedication really stood out to me. Thank you, Dylan, for being an amazing human and assisting people like me with such kindness and professionalism. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in need of a dermatologist. All the staff here are great. Front desk team got us checked in quickly and were friendly. We watched them assist another set of patients - with plenty of kindness and patience. The waiting room is spacious with lots of seats, natural light, and is kept comfy. Always great way to reduce stress. Dr. Mills and their team were phenomenal. They were friendly and addressed all my concerns with empathy. I struggle with getting in my head during operations and they accommodated me in a way that made it much less stressful. The operation went quickly and painlessly. Two days later and the pain is minimal. We were given very clear instructions for after care and what to expect during healing. Overall, I cannot speak more highly of the Desert Sky Dermatology staff. Before this experience I didn't consider skin health as important (I know, it's Arizona... everything is sun) as I should. But, my spouse and I will be visiting Desert Sky Dermatology to remain as healthy as we can.
