Completely unacceptable, careless, and disappointing experience with an online Uber Eats order. I ordered Chicken Fry Piece Biryani, but what I received was chicken fry pieces served with rice that clearly had a strong mutton smell and flavor. Anyone who eats biryani regularly can easily tell the difference. I ordered this again because I had the same dish just 2 days ago and knew exactly how it should taste. This time, it was totally different and unacceptable. Mixing or reusing rice from other dishes and sending it as chicken biryani is not okay. I was with my friend who eats chicken but does not eat mutton, and this created an awkward and frustrating situation. This shows a lack of care in food preparation and customer consideration. When I contacted the restaurant, one person kept me on hold for over 15 minutes, then another call was again kept on hold. Finally, someone claiming to be a supervisor said that sometimes chicken dum rice is mixed with fry piece biryani - but this clearly did not smell or taste like chicken rice. Either the kitchen staff is misleading management, or management is misleading customers. It honestly feels like online Uber Eats orders are taken for granted, assuming customers won’t complain. This is a serious - do not treat online orders differently from dine-in orders. If a dish cannot be prepared properly or separately, stop selling it instead of sending wrong food. Food quality, honesty, and hygiene are non-negotiable. please fix this immediately. Customers notice these things, even in online orders. Very disappointed.
It shows Buy1 get 1 for chicken pulav while placing an order but I ended up getting only one , is this a fake offer just to attract the customers? Or it got misplaced? And even the person who delivered the food , the person whom I got assigned completely mismatch , don’t you check check their ids while giving the food? Never had such a worst experience in any store before. Looks scary!!
The menu is huge of selection, however without photos it is hard to imagine what you get. We got couple things, and the winners go to garlic naan, one of the best I have in town. Everything else is good, I hope the taco using garlic naan as well. They were super busy, and felt really hot inside. Fun places to try different things with group of people.
We recently visited Desi District and had a lovely experience! We started with the dahi puri, which was fresh, tangy, and full of flavor. The paneer kathi roll was the only letdown—it tasted frozen and didn’t feel as fresh as the other items. But things definitely picked up from there! The manchurian was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, and the schezwan noodles were absolutely amazing—spicy, savory, and so satisfying. For dessert, we indulged in rabdi, gulab jamun, black forest pastry, and paan—each one was better than the last! Everything was rich, fresh, and delicious. We especially loved the desserts and noodles—definitely coming back for those!
If you want the taste of Indian street food within the confines of a restaurant, this place is the right one. The feel inside is very much like that of a very busy Indian restaurant in busy towns in India. Very casual ambiance. It’s order up front, pay, and pick up when ready. Fully self serve. There’s an array of North and South Indian items along with Indo-Chinese fusion offerings. Portions are large and price is very reasonable.
