The Guardian Building tour was better than I expected. Phil, our tour guide did an excellent job handling our large group and answering all of our questions. I'm definitely looking forward to another tour.
My niece and I loved the walking tour! Melissa was fantastic and full of energy, personality, and interesting info. It was a well organized and thoughtful tour and I loved that we hopped on the people mover and got to see so much more than a standard walking tour! I've taken a lot of tours in a lot of different cities and Melissa is one of the very best tour guides. She's passionate and loves her city! The tour is a nice overview with glimpses of things to check out in detail later. Take this tour at the beginning of your trip so you have time to explore afterwards. In the afternoon we also did the Guardian Building tour and some local friends joined us. Lorrie was super knowledgeable and also fantastic. My local friends were so impressed by a building they previously knew very little about. This is really a tour that everyone will enjoy, whether you're in Detroit for a day or a life-long resident. The details about the Guardian are impressive!
The tour was really nice! Melissa, our tour guide, is well informed and though I'm a native-Detroiter and have been to the Guardian Building before, I'd never been on a tour. It highlighted the priceless architecture we have right here in our city.
We had booked a tour of the Guardian building four a group of us, two kids included. Our tour guide was amazing - she was knowledgeable and passionate about the history and architecture of the building - making the experience very enjoyable. The kids loved going to the basement and checking out the vaults as well as the beautiful city views from the 32nd floor. The building is absolutely stunning. It was such a great experience that we will definitely be returning for some of the other tours available.
My best friend and I had the pleasure of exploring the iconic Guardian Building with Davey as our tour guide, and I must say, it was a truly enriching experience. The building's unique design and intricate details are a testament to the craftsmanship of the era in which it was built. The history of the building is incredibly fascinating, and we were captivated by the stories and anecdotes Davey shared. It was an awesome experience, and I'm grateful for the gift of such a memorable day.
