Jackson, our server was AWESOME! 👏 👏 👏🥰 Jackson is the perfect example of an EXCELLENT fine dining server; welcoming, gracious, very professional, friendly, classy, and thoroughly knowledgeable of the food and menu. Jackson checked on us frequently without ever being intrusive. Additionally, he always looked at our table as he walked by to see if we needed anything. He spoke clearly, not too loudly or too softy.☺️ He didn’t linger at our table unnecessarily, as some servers can do (inappropriately, staying too long at a customer’s table). Our meal, and the entire dining experience was so lovely and memorable.❤️ I ordered the small filet (6 oz) and the wedge salad. My husband ordered the NY strip and a Cesar salad. We shared the au gratin potatoes. Of course, the staff ensured we had plenty of hot, fresh French bread. Yum. I was gifted a scoop of ice cream in a lovely caramelized sugar cup which my husband devoured.😁 I ordered the white chocolate bread pudding which was decadent and absolutely delicious! This was a lovely evening in a beautiful and traditional style steakhouse; lots of gorgeous, expensive dark wood, white linen tablecloths, and the perfect amount of lighting. We’re so grateful for all the attentive staff, including the managers, with a special thanks to Jorge! ☺️ We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant for a wonderful dining experience!❤️

Had an absolutely spectacular meal at Dickie Brennan’s Steakhouse. The New York strip was cooked, absolutely perfectly and was seasoned perfectly as well Caesar salad fantastic. Our waiter, Jackson, was super attentive and took care of all of our needs. Definitely the place to go to for superior steaks in New Orleans. Best steak I have ever eaten at a restaurant.

This place was great and our server Lugene made it even better. He was great got us seated, situated and food ordered in all of 7 minutes. The food was delicious and prepared just as we ordered it. My wife praised our waiter many times and it was just an all around great experience. Everything was done in such a professional and timely manner. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants good atmosphere, food and service. The ribeye was great by the way and my wife enjoyed the prime rib.

We had reservations on 10/31/2025. We had saved up for a nice birthday dinner. The Beef Wellington was very tough and not good at all most of the meat was inedible. It did not seem to be beef tenderloin. The sides were by far the best part of the meal. It was very disappointing. The server and staff were amazing though. The service was outstanding, just wish the food matched.

Excellent experience. From the service to the cuisine, Dickie Brennan’s Steakhouse is the epitome of fine dining in New Orleans. We opted for the dining for two steak / sides / sauces, which was plenty for way more than just the two of us. Highly recommend
