The coaches create a positive, structured, and encouraging environment where children feel safe, confident, and motivated to learn. They focus not just on technique, but also on discipline, respect, and building character. Coach Jason deserves special recognition. His coaching style is patient, knowledgeable, and inspiring. He has an amazing ability to connect with kids, break down complex techniques in a way they understand, and keep them engaged while still having fun. You can tell he genuinely wants every child to succeed, both on and off the mats. Coach Summer is equally outstanding and brings an incredible level of attention to detail to every class. She notices the small things that make a big difference—whether it’s correcting form, reinforcing proper technique, or making sure each child is progressing safely and confidently. Her dedication and precision help build a strong foundation for the kids and really elevate the overall quality of the program. If you’re looking for a gym that treats your kids like family and helps them grow physically and mentally, Different Breed MMA is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Honestly the best decision we made was brining our children here! The coaches are amazing! Classes 5 days a week for the kids. My kids have learned to open up more around people, they have learned self defense and discipline. If you are looking for a family friendly mma gym for yourself or your kids THIS IS THE PLACE! been coming here for almost a year and I have 0 regrets with brining them here!!! Super supportive loving people, such a loving environment from the relationships we have gained from these amazing people

What an amazing gym!!! From the moment you walk in the door you can feel the energy they bring to each other. From the owners Karen and Stephen and Jason all care for not only the kiddos but the parents as well. The coaching staff is amazing and patient with everyone. This truly is a gym that believes in family values and it shows!!!
