We love dirty dawgs!!! We’ve actually been coming here for years and years…first, a decade ago with our big 100 pound Airedale, and now with our 20 pound welshie. Across all these years we have been so happy with the experience. They have fantastic shampoos and other washing supplies (the shampoo smells great), they accommodate various services (like renting a clipper), and overall are kind and helpful. We love this place.
We love Dirty Dawgs! Ronnie has been grooming my reactive golden doodle for 3 years. She is always patience and kind with him and I never worry about leaving him there. She/we have worked out a system that keeps everyone and their fur babies safe. She is amazing!
We brought our precious fur baby here for the first time to get a deluxe spa included a blueberry facial nail trim and paw scrub. We were probably more nervous than her because she look like she was just having the time of her life. The staff was nice and provided pictures of her through the process as requested definitely recommending to our friends and family and look forward to our next visit.
If you're searching for a clean, affordable, and exceptionally efficient self-serve dog wash in Tucson, go to Dirty Dawgs. Conveniently located on North Campbell Avenue, near the Chipotle, this place has become my go-to spot for bathing my boxers. For just $20, everything you need is included—high-quality shampoo and conditioner, towels, dryers, brushes, and even nail clippers. A lot of the other places don't offer those. They use Show Seasons, which I found out is what dog show people use before a competition. Unlike some of other dog washes that charge extra for basics or require that you make an appointment ahead of time, this place is completely walk-in. I recommend the Deep Cleaning shampoo and Manuka Honey Conditioner. The facility is clean, well-organized, and clearly run by people who care about both the pets and their owners. There's one station to wash and another to dry. So your dog doesn't have to be in the wet tub while you brush and use the blowdryers. They even have a big dryer that you can put your dog in, if they're afraid of the blowdryer. There's enough room to give your dog some space if they're nervous. I've noticed a few negative reviews that seem more about personal frustration than the actual service. Being told “no” when you’re outside the policy or you demand an exception isn’t rude—it’s just clear communication. It's the same reason that baby strollers tell you to take the baby out before folding...someone did something stupid. I appreciate that they are consistent and professional. The last wash starts at 3:00 PM, and while that might feel strict to some, you have to realize that these folks have a home life too and the hours are clearly posted everywhere online and on the door. If you're hoping to show up late and still be accommodated, this might not be your spot—but if you value reliability and quality, you’ll love it here. I'm tired of reading reviews for small businesses in which people demand the sun, moon, and stars for what's supposed to be an affordable service. As a minority woman-owned small business in Tucson, Dirty Dawgs represents everything I love to support: local and dependable. I highly recommend Dirty Dawgs to anyone looking to get their dog washed affordably and without it taking all day. Just look how handsome and happy my boy looks :D
I have been bringing my dogs here for a bath for several months. It is so nice to not have to use my own tub at home! I have found that they have all the tools I need as well as several blow dryers. I usually bring my own shampoo due to personal preference, but the one time I forgot mine, was satisfied with what they had to offer. I also appreciate that they provide towels. The employee is always professional and considerate. The environment is clean and quiet! I have recommended this place to friends who have enjoyed it a lot too! I will definitely continue coming here.
