We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From the very first song to the last, our guests (from kids to all the aunties in their 70s dancing like they were teens again) were on their feet all night and having an absolute blast. So many people came up to us during and after the reception to compliment the music and the energy. Marcus paid close attention to every detail we discussed (seamlessly transitioning from disco to 90s to 00s to today’s music), read the crowd perfectly, and kept the dance floor packed. His passion truly shows in his work, and it made our night unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Marcus was our wedding DJ for our October wedding in Brooklyn! He was super sweet, professional and thoughtful from the planning process until the end of the night of our wedding. He took suggestions very well as well as providing alternative solutions that ultimately made our big day amazing. He even strategized with one of our guest to do a surprise trumpet performance which wasn't even in our wedding plan! Marcus was recommended to us by our MC. He joined us on a zoom call and walked us through his set and examples. We met with a couple of DJs before meeting Marcus, and he stood out for us with his high energy and positive demeanor. He gave us homework which we didn’t want to do at first, but I am so glad that we did. By filling out our worksheet, Marcus knew our exact music taste. We also didn’t know exactly when and where we needed different songs. He walked through recommendations, such as songs for the bouquet toss, or cake cutting. He double checked our request list, and was accommodating of any special needs like taking note of songs we don’t want played, or songs that we absolutely must have, and even timing and queueing of specific songs and sequences to make our night and performances perfect. Our parents were concerned that the volume for the music would be too loud. We brought up our conern to Marcus and we can happily say that the volume was perfect. Marcus was also super flexible to work with, and able to adapt to situations that popped up. He noticed that our crowd loved K-Pop and Chappell Roan, and changed his set to include more of those songs. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ in the future.

Hiring Marcus was one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding! He did such an amazing job blending the music together seamlessly during transitions, choosing the absolutely perfect songs for the moment, and all our guests had so much fun on the dance floor as a result - the dance floor was full the entire night! The dancing part of our wedding will forever be a treasured memory for us! Working with Marcus before the wedding was also a breeze - he is super friendly, warm, professional, and organized.
