My roof replacement and gutter replacement job was done efficiently and timely in this cold weather. The crew moved everything away from my house, cleaned up and put it back.
The team working on my home, headed up by Pablo Echeverria, had a great attitude, workmanship far beyond my expectations, and were a pleasure to work with. Love my new roof.
Where do I begin. I could type all day about the gutter install crew and how they treated this simple install. If I remember correctly - it took almost 8 trips to complete this project. My wife and I didn't choose Don Kennedy because of the cost but the reputation. It seems since they have been purchased, the quality of work has diminished. An internal review of the crew needs to be addressed because without customers there is no Don Kennedy Gutter install Team. The roof we had installed - grade A+ on the crew. They stayed till it was complete, cleaned up after themselves and came back the next to double check everything...Spectacular!!!! My point of contact / Project Mgr Derrick Brown did an absolute wonderful job in communicating everything and was hearing my concerns when issues came about. We received 3 quotes on GAF Material and all 3 were in line. The biggest decision was reputation and in house crews - no sub contractors per-say. Sidenote : Clients never want to hear about internal problems within the company....Do the project correctly, no call backs and get paid. SIMPLE...take pride in your work as if it was your own house. Project is complete as of today and Im ready to MOVE ON !!!
Noticed a leak just before Thanksgiving. Called Don Kennedy for a quote to get the leak fixed. A technician (Nathanael) was out the next day and we discovered the company that roofed my house 15 years ago did a terrible job (no flashing around some vents, no underlay in parts). Bottom line: fix just this problem and gamble that the rest of the roof was okay, or replace the entire roof correctly with Don Kennedy. I went with Don Kennedy. The crew was amazing! They let me know what they were doing, they cleaned all the nails up (went over the yard and drive way more than twice with magnets), and the roof looks great. The foreman (Wesley) was out multiple times to discuss the work with me and to check the progress. Also had new gutters put on by DK as those were not installed correctly either. Same thing -- crew was great and the foreman was out to check progress multiple times. Financing was easy and I have piece of mind that the job was done correctly and if anything goes wrong, I can call Don Kennedy and they will fix it for me. Could not be happier with this decision.
We are VERY pleased with the Don Kennedy company. Their estimate was not the least expensive way to replace the roof, but their work and product are first class. They just installed the copper chimney cap this morning. I told the installer it almost looks like a work of art. Coupled with the quality of new roof and the overall experience with the company, plus the roof comes with a 25-year transferable guarantee, I give them an A plus reference/review.
