My bf and I went for a little walk today and stumbled upon this little gem. We walked in and it was just like a warm hug. It was actually the homemade mushroom soup. It was very different than what I was expecting. Very flavorful, hearty and made with love! We also got some arancini, a sausage roll, and a samosa. All were very delicious. We skipped the sweets this time but they looked equally as delicious. And we were served with such care and she gave great suggestions as well. Please if you have a chance check this place out and support your local businesses!!!
Dora's has wonderful fresh sandwiches for catering. Their customer service is excellent and the food is always amazing . This is one of our top go to's for our catering choices. Definitely reccomended for any event!
Dora’s is a Hamilton gem!! Not only were the pies and strudels absolutely delicious, they were a highlight of our late-night wedding station! SO fresh, flavourful and a crust I’m still thinking about! It was a gift for me to give a few to friends to take and share with their families! And I was able to enjoy a slice or two of pumpkin for breakfast the next day! Lol. It was a pleasure to work with their team on this little project that made a huge impact on the night! Keep up the great work!!!
Dora's Delicatessen & Catering is truly exceptional! Imagine a home cooked meal by your Grandmother (assuming your grandmother was a wonderful cook) that is as delicious as it is comforting! The ingredients were simple, but the flavours were out of this world! There is a lot of skill and artistry at Dora's. We ordered the full thanksgiving dinner to take with us yurt camping to MacGregor Point Provincial Park. I mean it was everything! Turkey (perfectly cooked, carved and layered with gravy in a metal container, ready to reheat), homemade cranberry sauce, extra gravy, mashed potatoes with butter, stuffing (OH THE STUFFING), fresh buns and butter, an apple pie - and because we can't help ourselves a side of ham & pineapple. My husband isn't normally a turkey guy, however he said this was the best turkey he has ever had!! The stuffing was wonderfully fragrant with fresh herbs, firm celery, onions and stock. The mixed veg were tender, yet firm and the mashed potatoes were smooth & creamy. The cranberry sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and tart and wonderful accompaniment to the juicy and tender turkey. The gravy was velvety, full of flavour and was welcome on every single item on my plate. Liquid gold, as they say! We had ordered too much food, so the next morning we made breakfast sandwiches on the grill with the buns, ham & pineapple and it was 100% the right choice. We have never ordered food to take camping, but I can assure you this is a thanksgiving tradition we would like to continue year after year - always with Dora's Thanksgiving Dinner Menu! (Also, honestly everything else is great at Dora's as well! The Hot Cross Buns, Mini Chicken Pot Pies, baked goods, all of it!) Thank you to Mary & the entire team at Dora's! Hamilton has a true gem and we're glad to support you 100%!
