I have an obsession with books, especially previously read ones. With floor to ceiling shelves, you never know what you will find. There are also LPs, CDs, little trinkets, and an experience you won't forget. It reminds me of those book shops in really large cities in the old downtown areas with the scent of old pages, worn carpet, and experienced shelves. It's a great place to get lost in.
A very comprehensive, well organized bookstore. Places like this are a dying breed and must be celebrated trumpeted.
Excellent used bookstore. You are overwhelmed by the height of the shelves as soon as you enter, and navigating the maze-like layout is a fun time. Using a ladder (one in every aisle for your convenience) to retrieve books off the top shelf is a blast as well. Prices were reasonable, I purchased 9 books for 55$. My only complaint is the slightly confusing layout, but once you navigate it a bit, it'll come to you.
What a gem! There is truly something for everyone here. This space is where your favorite Indie film character would be if they lived in Milwaukee 2025. The ladders, the woods, the books stacked to the ceiling, the smell of books. There is something so inviting and captivating about this shop. The bright yellow exterior will draw you in, and the nostalgia will keep you there.
A wonderful gem of a used bookstore. It's almost perfect. Tall stacks that require a ladder to reach the top. Isles that are just narrow enough. They might not have the exact thing you came for but everyone can leave with an amazing find. And that's the joy, browsing for a gem you didn't think you needed but falling in love with a special new book. Except they're all used, but in great quality at a very good price. This is a destination bookstore, a place to plan a trip around.
