Clear they prioritize returning clients over first timers. Ended up standing in a corner with wet hair waiting for a chair while 4 people who showed up for their appointment AFTER me, got called ahead of me. They did comp my scalp massage bc of this. Also clear they gave me the least experienced stylist so the whole trip was practically a waste of time and money. Hard to give a bad review as the stylist was so genuine and working hard, but the client and even the stylist should never be put in these types of situations. Hard pass.
While visiting Phoenix for work, I was so delighted with the amazing experience I had with Maria at Drybar! If you have thick hair, she is absolutely the one for you. She worked efficiently, styled beautifully, and had me out in under an hour. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip. Highly recommend!
I’d always had good experiences at drybar then a few months back had a bad one but still went back, and this time I again had a bad experience. Asked for cosmo and got more loose waves than curls, only good thing was that I got decent volume. I left it as is because I was curious to see if I would maybe like looser waves more than my usual style. Hours afterward my hair was already flat. Previously I’ve had blowouts last me days :(
I recently went to the Phoenix location at 32nd & Camelback. As always - amazing experience! I had a nice dinner planned but didn’t want to look too done up. After talking about it with Alison (sp?), she did a job even better than I imagined in my head! :) I also added the Crown Tonic hair treatment which was very relaxing. Everyone was super friendly and it was an overall fabulous visit! I highly recommend them and Alison!
Horrible experience. I made an appointment, still had to wait 10-15 min, not a big deal. But the stylist was rude, she did not style my hair well or the style that I requested. I had to get my hair redone before my event. It also took a lot longer than the appointment time. Super disappointed, don’t trust them with your hair :( my friends with zero hair experience were able to do better. I felt like the stylist was just rushing through the appointment and did not frame my face at all. When I asked her if she could focus the curls higher or fix it, she said no, she couldn’t.
