I’m a loyal dry bar customer and this location really disappoints me today. They called me first saying my appointment at 6:45 would be 15 mins delayed and that I could come at 7. I called them around 7 to confirm if they were ready, they said that in 5 minutes they would be. I came in 8 minutes after the call, only 3 minutes later. Now for some reason, the stylist is not ready for me and is blowing out someone else and I had to wait 30 minutes on top of already waiting. I don’t understand why they would tell me they were ready if they weren’t. When I was waiting for a while and asked the lady why I’m still waiting she said I didn’t come in time. She asked to come in 5 minutes because THEY were late and I came in 8. Only 3 minutes which shouldn’t matter because I was already waiting a while for the appointment. The lady who blew me out was sweet but the front desk lady had the craziest attitude ever. I usually don’t make reviews like this but she was very rude. I got my hair done at 8:30 when my appointment was at 6:45 originally. Unexpectable and disappointed.
This business is the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL HORRIBLY RUN place that I have ever encountered in my life. I made an appointment for a blow out on Sunday at 8:30am for the Emmy's. They call me at 7:30 am on the morning of the Emmy's and tell me no one can blow out my hair and that non one is coming into the salon and they only have an appointment in the evening. I say I am going to the Emmy's and that won't work. The man had an snotty attitude with me on the phone when it was their fault. Saying he did everything he could. When I state how ridiculous this is given that they have multiple styilists and that most people go there for events and this is LA, how can they not have a stialist on a day like today, he defends himself and says sorry no one can do my hair because they have no one coming in. I asked if. they can schedule me at another salon and they said they are all separate locations and they have no access to other drybars and they can't do that and that they did everything they could do. Supposebly one person has covid was their excuse, not the whole salon but for some reason they as a business thought it was better to be snotty to me on the phone and said well I offered you and everything I could. I said that isnt everything. They did not apologize they kept defending themselves and stating that they did everything. They said they asked others if they could do my hair and they said no. That supposbly was all this person could do. I woke up at 7 am for this. Then they cancel my appointment with a note that I had a conflict with drybar. Thank you so much for canceling (rather than standing us up!). We truly appreciate it. Thsi was their cancellation message to me. They are thanking me that I cancelled when THEY cancelled on me last minute at 7:30 am when my appointment was at 8 am on the day of the Emmys. .That is what the note states on my cancellation that they just did. This is so bizarre. Hoe are these people working and empolyed? I haven't gone to dry bar in years and never had a conflict, never had this experience. I have not gone to this location in 6 years.. They took me over 40 minutes late for my appointment. I’m not sure why they don’t have enough stylists to accommodate customers when they know someone has an appointment.
I really don’t get why this place has bad reviews. I got there two minutes before my appointment and was taken care of right away. Service was quick despite I have a LOT of hair. Valerie did my hair and I loved it.
Great atmosphere, Great Customer service! I brought my 5y old daughter here. I was a little surprised the stylist had no problem doing her hair. Her hair is very kinky and tight curls! first blow out and the Stylist with red hair is Amazing. Sorry I can't remember her name but All staff was Amazing and nice!!! We will be back! Thankyou for providing my daughter with a great experience! #Priceless
