Went on the Sunday with free kids gear rentals. We had a blast! 2 of my daughters are definitely excited to go back. The gentleman that worked the front and gave the belay class were professional, friendly, and did an awesome job! 5 stars
Really fun gym in DFW. Their late night traverse competition was really fun. They also have a great set of auto belays. The bouldering wall can be tough compared to other local gyms, but it’s fun and worth checking out!
The kids and grown-ups seemed to really enjoy this place for our little 6 year olds birthday party! For the most part it it was fantastic! I thought there were a few things that would help it be better. One problem was that not everyone experienced climbers, so our little people were often just standing around waiting for someone to show them what to do. Although we did have a few adults who knew how to climb, they were out numbered by the children who didn't know anything about climbing. One adult did get quick coaching on how to manage a small child they found quickly they didn't get it completely. Many of the kids didn't get to climb due to this. Possibly, in the future, someone could be assigned to a birthday party until everyone has had a chance to actually climb. Just one more thing... being it was almost all of our first time going here, we had no idea our shoes would never be the same after walking around on top of shredded black rubber . I might have missed it if there was a sign, but a warning would be really great! Other than these two things, this was a different and fun experience!
I was visiting from out of town and dropped in for a day pass. Over all the gym was fantastic. The route setting was done well, but the grading felt stiff. If you were to continue climb at this gym you would no doubt be a stronger climber. The hard grading was a nice ego check. The staff was friendly, prices were unbeatable, and the facility was fantastic. 10/10 would climb there again.
Compré un Groupon y tanner y Brian lo aceptaron sin problemas y nos llevaron directamente a ponernos en marcha. Claro, las paredes medían 25 pies de alto, a diferencia de otras que son mucho más altas, pero esto es genial para principiantes. Me gusta cómo te enseñan lo básico y luego te dejan hacer lo tuyo si confían en que lo entendiste. TIP: en serio, usa el Groupon porque incluye todo el equipo y los zapatos gratis, incluso la formación básica. Los groupons de otros lugares normalmente no siempre lo incluyen.
