So glad you are teaching others to grow their own do they can eat healthy. I have a back yard so can only grow so much but have 15 fruiting trees because I buy dwarf and grow them against my fence sideways like in England.

Today, I volunteered at Eat Your Yard through my employer and was delighted by the experience. I found the work highly engaging and appreciated the chance to contribute. Tim provided exceptional hospitality, sharing his expertise with my group. Prior to starting our tasks, we received a thorough tour, which was greatly appreciated. I plan to revisit, both to volunteer and to purchase plants. For those who have not visited, I highly recommend doing so. It is essential to support local businesses.

Tim is the man for native edible plants! They sell overalls magic mix a very nice organic local mushroom soil that plants love. They offer a wonderful assortment of classes for growing mushrooms and identifying native plants. They also offer closed loop tilapia and greens farm set ups. It's worth a visit even if you're just there for the edible plant nursery. You'll leave more knowledgeable than you came. It may even change your ways

This little nonprofit farm is such a good idea that we should all help it to succeed. From blueberries to beans and persimmons to passionfruit they make nature fun and directly accessible. You can buy your own edible plants and by nurturing food crops, we nurture ourselves and each other. There's a nice and relaxed vibe to the place with helpful people all around. You can sometimes find Tim Armstrong, the founder of this unique place. His vision is adverb focused not only on making the place sustainable but also serving community with education and outreach, especially for children and folks in the inner city where food deserts and costly fresh food present substantial challenges. My hat is off to him for being one of those people who really makes a difference!
