My partner and I moved into an older house that needed some serious yardwork and property recovery a few years ago. We were offered discounted service after getting a chance to consult with one of the managers for the EcoShield team, and him walking through some of the common pet problems with the houses in our neighbourhood. Over the last few years our quarterly appointments helped greatly in reducing the number of mice around our home, and drove many of the seemingly infinite ant colonies to a distance. We were given advice on how to clean up some of the property to reduce animal infiltration after each appointment and the changing conditions on the property as we cleaned up the area. Every appointment had a fantastic summary conversation with the visiting tech, always in good nature and high energy. Our dog was even happy to see the EcoShield truck pull up when we had our appointments each month because of the friendly service. Finally getting to a point where we didn’t need service anymore, I was able to cancel my subscription after calling April, who was thorough in describing the steps to get things completed, and friendly the entire time. Im grateful for the time we were customers, and so appreciative of everyone we worked with. I’d recommend this company’s service to anyone who would need it, and won’t hesitate to reach back out to them should we need our own help with pest control again. 🩵
Eric was professionally friendly and polite. He was thorough in executing the inspection and treatment process. For the few times he visited he always let us know when he arrived and was done. We are highly appreciative of his services.
I’ve tried for two weeks to get a basic resolution and still haven’t received a single call back from a manager. My 10 a.m. appointment was marked as “completed,” yet the technician sprayed a couple spots near the front door, sat in his vehicle, and left without performing the actual service I’m contracted for. My plan is specifically for mice prevention, but my receipt listed treatments for ants, boxelder bugs, and spiders. The bait box wasn’t checked or filled, and the perimeter was never inspected. I’ve emailed multiple times and called five times. Each time I’m told someone will call me back within 24–48 business hours, and no one does. Even worse, my concern wasn’t accurately documented internally despite all my attempts. At this point, the service has not been performed, and communication has been nonexistent but they did send the bill. **Shout to to Nolan the inspector! Nolan, has been the only genuinely helpful person. He answers his phone, is honest, and actually escalates issues. He can’t control the outcomes, but at least he’s competent.**
I love their Customer Service reps, as well as their pest services & technicians! Although you'll probably never hear that again, it's 💯% true of Eco Shield! Unfortunately, due to our current financial situation, we had to cancel our services with them (for now); they (reps Lady & Irene) understood our situation & helped us find a solution that worked best for us, which *was* to actually cancel. They processed this request like they have with other requests, calls, or questions we've had: quickly and with respect, compassion, and understanding –every time–.
I had to call today and ask for help with a newly discovered issue with mice in our home. (Minnesota winters, am i right?) Jace was amazing. First off, Jace was so kind and empathetic when i shared my concerns. A mouse spotting in our home was not treated as a "business as usual" call and Jace seemed as shocked and horrified as i was. Lol. Jace was eager to help and got to scheduling my time slot quickly. We were able to schedule an inspection for next day, (my first available time) The call was quick and efficient, but also friendly and informative. I hung up feeling very supported in my efforts to reclaim my home from the gross little procreators. Also- I've been an existing customer for 7 years and I love that I don't have to always remember to schedule my quarterly service. Ecoshield automatically schedules it for me and sends me a notification. If I'm not going to be home, it's not problem. They still treat the outside. If I need to reschedule the time they gave me, they're always super flexible. If after the treatment i see any pest activity, they come out again at no extra charge. We live on a very wooded lot, lots of brush, lots of shade, wet areas, with bugs, wasps, spiders, all of the things- and ecoshield has handled issues that we didn't even know we had until they did their routine treatment and discovered them while inspecting. They are always sweet to our dogs when they arrive and their treatment solutions are safe for our pets. Pest control is a non-negotiable expense to maintain our home. They make it easy, do an excellent job and we happily refer them to the people we care about.
