UPDATE - Five years in and still going strong. ***** For the last 3 years and during COVID, this dojo has been an extension of our family. Sensei John and the instructors have helped shape my son and daughter through critical developmental phases to be better, to keep trying, to work hard, and never give up. My kids respect themselves, are kind to others, and have a quiet confidence that extends beyond the dojo. Beyond the mixed martial arts discipline, there is a special kind of magic here.
This place has been outstanding for our son and daughter. They have been going here for almost 2 years now and they love it which is what really counts. I have observed them grow as individuals in this program more than any other activity we have put them through in the past. The owners and trainers have helped our kids grow both physically and personally. Through their martial arts they emphasize physical strength, mental strength, education, respect, responsibility, perseverance and discipline. Sensei John, his wife and their team have created such a positive environment that all the kids have such Camaraderie which I believe enhances the kids’ commitment to the program. The community and atmosphere that Sensei John has created at Elite is one that you won't find anywhere else. I started Martial arts at 8 years old and have been training there ever since. The Elite instructors have taught more than just MMA. They have taught me how to be a leader, how to be kind and compassionate, and most importantly how to believe in myself and always strive to learn more. I will always be grateful to my Elite family and cannot thank Sensei enough. If you are looking for a place to train I highly recommend Elite Martial Arts for all ages.
¡Excelente programa para adultos, también! Jon Roberts y todos los demás cinturones negros allí son sobresalientes con los niños. Es evidente que los niños realmente lo respetan y lo escuchan. Nuestras gemelas de 8 años acaban de empezar allí, pero he asistido a otras escuelas en el pasado y Elite Martial Arts tiene un sentido de comunidad y amistad que es raro encontrar en escuelas 'Chain' más tradicionales. Altamente recomendado.
