I want to give ZERO stars!! Do not risk your health!! The alarms were going off in my head from the beginning, I knew it was a scam and still went in. I scheduled because I was having consistent low back pain. The first appt was just x-rays which seemed reasonable but her entire pitch and even the front desk guy were just giving off this gross sales energy. She kept saying my legs were 2 different lengths because of spinal misalignment. She’d have me bend a knee then claim she fixed the mismatched lengths. That’s not real medicine whatsoever. The next time I went in, she said she needed more x-rays which was surprising and honestly felt like she was just trying to upcharge me as much as possible. I was angry but kept my cool. After the first “adjustment” my pain increased from a 6 to maybe an 8. She insisted this was normal and “adjusted” me again. the next couple days I experienced probably 9 but then on the 3rd day after the “adjustment” I was at a 10 on the pain scale. I could not get up from out of bed. I could not move. I emailed her about this and she flippantly told me to get an MRI. It truly felt like she couldn’t be bothered. She had said in that initial appt she would go over my x-ray with me but that never happened and it wasnt until i emailed her that she looked at them and said they were normal. I cancelled all my appointments. Then today I’m at the point where I cannot move any part of my body. The pain is a 15/10. Even putting my arm over my head causes excruciating pain. I can’t walk. I can’t move positions. I’m completely stuck and in the worst pain of my life. She caused me excruciating pain. I’ve been stuck halfway on my couch for hours and cannot stop crying. Do not go to this office.
Dr Zapata is really exceptional. I had seen other chiropractors and separate with headaches and she helped me. She was also so helpful during my pregnancy.
I highly recommend Dr. Zapata and team for all of your chiropractic needs or concerns. The clinic is a comfortable, safe space. A thorough medical history, current health conditions along with pain concerns were discussed. Dr. Zapata then created a treatment plan that was tailored to my chiropractic needs. After 5 months pain-free! .
I love the team at Emerald City Spinal. Dr Zapata has been a wonderful chiropractor, connecting personally, truly listening to what’s happening with my body, and bringing me back from the edge pain wise.
If I could leave more stars I would. Dr. Z and the whole crew are amazing, kind & caring people, and they are here to help everyone who walks through the door. With Dr. Zapata's method and techniques of chiropractic care, which is subtle and gentle but very effective. Combined with the Amazing Courtney and her massages, as well as the warm and welcoming customer service from Mary, you will fee like a new person. They have helped me tremendously in just three short months, and I went from pain level of 7 out of 10 to virtually none. Dr. Z and Courtney tailors they're care to fit your specific needs.
