Empire Heating and Air Conditioning is not a good option for business owners leasing commercial space. When I attempted to schedule a routine HVAC maintenance inspection, I was told I could not do so without explicit permission from the property owner. For a standard and basic service request, this level of restriction is unnecessary and inconvenient. I do not recommend this company for commercial tenants who need straightforward, routine HVAC maintenance without excessive hurdles.
Empire came out the same afternoon I called them and completed our repair within a couple days. When the technician arrived, he told me that he’d come up with a more affordable fix than previously proposed. Everything worked great and this would be the first company I call in the future for any HVAC needs. Highly recommend!
I needed a repair to my heating/AC unit. I waited for a few days to get an appointment. Empire sent someone who spent quite a bit of time figuring out the repair needed. The repair quote was around $3000 with another wait for two weeks. I called a different provider who came the same day to evaluate and repair for $460. This is upsetting but unfortunately this has happened to another friend of mine so it is not just my situation. I wanted to share this for others to know that this is not the right business to hire.
The technician, Kobe (sp?), was on time & since we had not met before he took time to listen to what we wanted from the service call. Our system is on the older side & he gave us good input about our concerns with the unit. He was knowledgeable & reassuring which we appreciate very much.
Taylor came to help us out after hours with an issue after our new thermostat was installed and the AC wasn’t working. He was super kind and knowledgeable, helped explain the issue to us and was very professional. Great guy!
