For the time I was there it was decent, I’m only giving 2 stars because they aren’t transparent at all regarding cancelling your membership. I cancelled my membership two days before it renews expecting that I wouldn’t be charged again as would any other person and they still charged me. I called to dispute it and they said there was nothing they can do about it and I can’t use the gym despite me already being charged for the following month. Nobody told me about this when I was canceling which is extremely deceptive.
Parking is easy, free in the outdoor lot with validation if you can’t find street. Equipment is new, lockers clean, culture is great. The gym gets busy during rush hours but if you can avoid the hours of 5-7, you’re good.
Im in my mid 50’s and haven’t been to a gym in well over 20 years. The thought of joining a gym was overwhelming and intimidating. I visited several gyms in my neighborhood, just as I had almost made up mind with another gym based on price, Tom and Omar brought up a great point on the cost of parking to join that gym, I would have spent quite a bit more per month. Omar set me up with a trainer to get me started. My first visit with Zack was great, he asked pertinent questions and listened. I look forward to the rest of the sessions to guide me towards my goal.
A Gold Member from Texas. Received a guest pass, and I’m so glad for the opportunity to enjoy my workouts away from home. The team members were welcoming, friendly and professional. Checking in as a guest was quick and simple. All the latest equipment, over 18 plus stair masters…wow! Studio was nice, tuff area is small so I didn’t get to enjoy. This gym stays pretty busy. Towel service is a plus, steam room was nice and spacious. Overall, this new location is beautiful. Great Amenities, Staff were great. Thank you Gold’s for providing extended services to your members…near and far.
Pros: The equipment is high quality, the gym culture is positive, there are plenty of lockers, the staff is approachable and the environment feels safe with minimal creepers. Thanks to a recent renovation, the equipment is some of the best I've used. Cons: The equipment is often dirty since the gym doesn't provide wipes (they have paper towels and spray but the extra effort turns people off). You'll need to bring your own clips for lifting and the parking validation system can be a bit of a hassle.
