The staff was really friendly, and the games were genuinely interactive. It was my first-ever escape room experience, and it turned out to be a great one. PS: After this, we tried two other escape rooms in Calgary—one was honestly pretty bad, and the other was just okay. That alone says a lot. We’ll definitely be visiting Escape City again soon.

Escape city quickly accommodated our small walk in group and make the experience fantastic from start to finish. The theme and design of the room was really well done and I appreciated the variety of puzzles within the room itself. One thing that makes an escape room stand out is when the room has interactive tasks requiring all participants to engage - escape city did a great job at this which made the experience ten times more enjoyable. I wouldn't come here if you're planning on relying on one group member to pull all of the weight, this is a place where you genuinely have to work together which makes the whole experience so much more fun and rewarding.

My husband and I have done at least 40 escape rooms in the last 7 years and I really enjoyed escape city. The staff and friendly and the rooms are all unique with different puzzles. The most recent one we did was neurological and it was really fun! Good for two people or a medium sized group. I would say any more than 5 people would be too much. Overall great place and would recommend!

We went to Escape City Calgary on December 21 at 10:00pm and had an amazing experience. The escape room itself was fun, challenging, and really well designed, but what truly stood out was the receptionist working that night. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name, but she absolutely deserves recognition. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and energetic, even that late at night. She explained everything clearly, made us feel excited before we even started, and was genuinely kind and professional throughout our visit. Her positive attitude made the whole experience even better and set the tone for a great night. If management sees this, please let her know she made a lasting impression. We’ll definitely be coming back, and customer service like that is a huge reason why. Highly recommend Escape City Calgary!

Best escape rooms I've ever done!!!! The puzzles made by the staff are challenging yet straightforward. Nothing too abstract or convoluted. I've already done 2 escape rooms and I'm eager to do another one soon!! Seriously a hidden gem for escape room places, I 10/10 recommend this especially for newcomers as there is no penalty for hints! A huge appreciation to all the staff, you guys are the most sweetest and creative bunch I know ♥️
