Me and my friends went for the Oceans Escape room and had a good time! Mostly the people that hadn’t done an escape room before. A few of us had already done some at other places and we left a bit disappointed in how easy some of the puzzles were. I was a bit taken aback by the lack of difficulty rating on the website? Anna was lovely however :)

Absolutely fantastic experience at Edinburgh Escape! From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, enthusiastic, and great at setting the scene. The room itself was incredibly well designed—clever puzzles, immersive storytelling, and just the right level of challenge to keep everyone engaged without being frustrating. You can really tell a lot of thought and creativity has gone into every detail.

Played the "Ocean's Escape" room here with just 2 of us, one who was a first timer. It was rated 3/5 difficulty but we escaped with 20 minutes remaining on the clock and only one hint. As much as I enjoyed this room, I think it would be far too easy for bigger groups / more experienced players - for this location, I would recommend doing the hardest room (8 years later).

We had a great experience yesterday in the Casino room with Matthew as our guide. He made it very enjoyable and we had great craic! Would highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing time doing the Carnival of Curiosities with our 12 year old son. Each puzzle was logical and it wasn’t impossibly difficult but did challenge you. Matthew was extremely helpful when we had questions and encouraged us when we were close to finding clues. We will be back to complete more in the future and I would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a fun experience in Edinburgh that you’ll remember!
