MARCELO was AMAZING! This food, service, and friendliness of the staff was phenomenal. I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken- worth every penny! The margarita was fresh and they even lessened the sugar for me with additional lime juice. My husband got a steak and cheese quesadilla; it was fresh and melted in your mouth. Tres leches 💯 for dessert. We will come back here time and time again when we are in Miami South Beach and hope to see Marcelo again! Best wait staff- professional and friendly. An amazing experience for our Miami South Beach visit!
Had dinner here with a friend and really enjoyed the Mexican food. The veggie tacos and fish tacos were both flavorful and well prepared. The pineapple and guava juices were refreshing. The green salsa with the complimentary chips was a hit. The ambience was cozy and vibrant, adding to a great dining experience. Special mention to our server, Marcelo, who was friendly, welcoming, and very attentive throughout.
I was on the hunt for a spot to dine near my hotel and was so happy to have found Esquina Mexicana. I ordered the chicken tacos and a classic margarita. The flavor profile of the chicken tacos was delish, and the margarita was perfectly balanced not overpowered by tequila. The pricing of the marg caught me off guard, but I’m guessing that comes with the area. Our waitress, Yayis, was super pleasant and honestly deserves a New Year raise! Would definitely return.
Loved this place! This was one of the best Mexican restaurants we've ever been to. The Aquachiles were essentially a shrimp cevice that was perfectly done. The Mocajete was incredible. The the spicy salsa was flavorful and the extra spicy was good too. Danny was fun and we were very glad to have stopped here. Definitely eaten here, but check your bill before you pay ;^)
I recently had lunch at this Mexican restaurant and everything was delicious! I ordered the chicken flautas, mixed fajitas, and churros — and every bite was full of flavor. The flautas were perfectly crispy, the fajitas came out sizzling with tender meat and fresh veggies, and the churros were warm, sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal. Our server, Yail, was wonderful — friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The atmosphere was welcoming and lively, and the food came out quickly despite how busy it was. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving authentic Mexican food and great service. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🌮✨
